"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
I hope this is a bug, or it gets changed to allow the T'Liss skin to be used on all of the T'Varo ships. I want to use the TOS uniform on a TOS ship at T5.

Branflakes said they can't let us use the T'liss at T5 for the same reason we can't have a T5 Connie. So I doubt it'll change anytime soon.
Err... we can have a T5 B'rel or a D7 skin so I think thats a sorry excuse specially since Republic Fleet seems like "trash'r'us" "whetever that fles" kind of fleet.
And yes a TOS uniformed crew with a TOS ship would be very good.
Anyway I just saved 500zen on the T'varo (bad deal PWE) and the challenge just gone up, how far can i go flying a T'liss ? Well see

B'Rel and D7 were both still in use during the Dominion War. If you can find scenes from TNG/DS9/VOY showing the T'Liss or Connie still in use in the 24th Century you can probably talk Cryptic into talking CBS into changing their mind.

Oh yes no T'liss in the 24th century true, most of the romulan fleet at the time is composed of T'varos a ship that is almost 200 years older than the T'liss... yeah right
But honestlly I thought that was obvious from the start.
No the T'varo has a more modern look so the Devs choose it, has nothing to do with cannon.
As for the D7 i used the name for the TOS series models not the more advanced K?tinga ones which are almost identical in shape but have a lot more detail.
About connies who cares about rabbits ? Or federation space tubs for that matter ?
I really love the T'Varo class. I just wish I had one with the Jem'Hadar set and Reman material and 3 x sets of dual polaron dual heavy cannons and tri-cobalt torpedos up front
2 x polaron beams in the rear with plasma mines. This is ofcourse speaking of the T5 variant.
