Stuck at Launcher, says "patching"

So the game randomly crashed on me, now every time I try to launch either STO or Neverwinter it simply gets to the patching phase and does nothing, nothing at all. Is there a fix for the patcher? I tried downloading the patcher again, but it continues to simply freeze over and over. I can't even cancel the "patch" or start the game, it is very frustrating.
