so i finished it warped back to normal space and now i have to redo the mission all over... wtf

    Yeah, I just experienced the same thing and I'm pretty damn annoyed.

    I'm not sure it's worth trying again because the same thing might happen...

    Just did it again and completed the mission. This time, I tried 'Not now' with Tovan's final dialogue box, then went into the missions and hailed Janek manually.

    I guess leaving the system doesn't finish the mission or something?
