Okay,
So I tried again after the server reset and I got in immediately. All I can say is I am sorry Cryptic and I take it all back. I didn't have enough time to start a Romulan but I did my usual rep grind. Here are the main points:
Upside
1. The trait reset is pure awesome sauce. What a fantastic idea to let us customize our character how we play. I picked my races according to RP and missed out on so many traits. Now I got to pick all the space traits and it made a very noticeable difference to STF elite.
2. Interface is incredibly responsive. Powers are actually activating immediately.
3. I like the graphical touches and appreciated the Drozana station revamp.
4. Liked the "wait time" counter on fleet actions. Nice touch.
... not enough time to taste all the good stuff
Downside
1. Only one. I still don't like the new GUI, even with high res / all effects on. The old GUI was slicker and more sophisticated but subtle. I can live with it though.
