WHat about the things you LIKE about LoR so far?

We've seen all of the kvetching. Let's talk about the GOOD things we've seen with the Legacy of Romulus expansion.


If you're going to complain, please take it elsewhere.



Some of the things I like so far ahve been the polished textures, seriously it looks like not ust the maps but the ships themselves have all been cleaned up a bit. They look so much cooler now.


Jem Hadar ship captains, have you noticed your "view screen" when communicating in space?

Look closer, it's the eyepiece that only the Vorta and the First typically wear onboard the Jem'Hadar ships, slight transparancy and all, let's you see a little of your bridge behind who-ever you're talking to. I think that's a DAMN nice touch.

    most of what ive managed to see since yesterday is really nice,the login screen,Lcars,nearly all the new stuff is great,one thing ive noticed is the static space background orbiting ESD looks a bit different not as realistic,but otherwise im impressed with the changes,now let me IN!!!!!! :D

    OH! I can't believe I forgot this.


    The specialty specific buttons!


    Tac skills are Red, Eng Yellow, Sci Bluish green.


    That's fantastic! Especially since I'm primarily fed, switching between toons used to take me a few seconds to remember what icon does what, now it's all colorized and easier to just get going.

    I think the com screens are one of my fav parts... vast improvement over the simple popup boxes with a head and torso on a black background. Cool to see the viewscreens and padds with relative backgrounds behind the NPCs.

    I like that it's new content.
    Too bad I can't actually play it.

    I like the new UI and graphical look, and the traits.

    I just wish there was a list of ALL possible traits you can get in the game so I can work for the ones you can "unlock" and not waste my respec.

    Something neat I noticed during the Crateris mission, and it's a LOT easier to see durign the final hail.

    The Romulan/Reman shuttles have Delta Flyer interiors.



    Interior images that are apparently taken from Voyager as it looks a LOT like a picture and not a rendered image.

    Romulans and Remans as new playable species

    Romulan Ships

    New missions (especially like having new Shuttle/Fighter mission)

    I was under the assumption that they had traits attached to certain events/missions, like Tour the Universe gave you a trait.

    I had logged in with level 50 characters and it started telling me I got a bunch of new accolades and had a handful of trait spaces unlocked and ready to place and activate traits for them.

    DUnno, I never ran the tour so I wouldn't have had that unlocked. But if you got the accolade (If theres a trait attached) then it SHOULD have unlocked when you first logged in.

    Yeah, hearing Ms. Crosby congratulate you each time you level up is very cool.

    I like everything about LoR except for the performance issues, although I've been lucky enough to mostly avoid them thanks to my LTS.

    Man, I love the Romulans!
