Patience is a virtue

I started up STO after playing waaaay too much last night. Legacy of Romulus is great and i'm really enjoying all the new content.

However, while i understand the need for the log-in queue to maintain server stability, I waited 2 hours in queue only to get hit with a "timed out connecting to game server" message once i made it through. I was shunted BACK to the log-in screen and from there to the END of the 24,000+ person queue.

I'm a patient person. While in the queue, i played a game of Settlers of Catan with my family, took my dogs on a walk, and made supper. When i finally sat down to watch the last few digits drop away, only to see the Timeout error, i could only think..."I knew it was too good to be true."

    I feel your pain, one would think they would at lease rent out more servers to handle the extra load. Not like getting more players that you want to keep for a long time would make them more money or anything(sarcasm)...just saying... hope you get in soon my friend.

    Hehe, yeah, I was in a 4000+ queue some hours ago and was almost done when "disconnect from login server" happened.
    Now... Theres a 25356+ long queue and Im not even gonna bother.

    Hey i know what you mean. Does any one know if they are going to get more servers to handle the extra players ? I mean at one time 4 exsample i used to like may be poping on for half an hr before work or comming on after work and all this having to wait around is already irritating. Just beging honest. Just a thought but in the long run they could start to loose players through this.
