A que after being disconnected?!

I am a gold subscriber why do I have to wait in a cue when I was disconnected. I had to wait a while just get in in the first place and I get disconnected and have to wait even more time. Com on Cryptic, once is slightly understandable but your servers should remember who just got disconnected and give them priority as long as get back within say 5 minutes or less. :mad:

    At least you aren't waiting in the queue only to get "Server Not Responding" messages that don't stop timing out.

    There is once again a queue, which if you attempt to change characters...guess what? You get into queue again!!!!

    /sigh

    yes this is happening to me as well 4 times now , but I was in game

    The game can't differentiate whether you disconnected on purpose or via your internet disconnecting.

    So once you leave the actual game either on purpose (going back to the select character screen is leaving the game) or because of an Internet issue, it goes back to the queue.

    Don't feel left out because I have experienced all of the problems today. This is really bad of Cryptic! It makes me wounder if there trying to beat EA's Simcity fiasco!

    Except of course it would be very easy to do this. If you are disconnecting the client can tell the server, in the case of a lost connection it is the server closing a connection that has been idle for too long. Not that it matters because it really should be the very simple matter of seeing if the account has been online in say the last 10 minutes and bypass the queue if that is the case and we know they keep track of when you were last online since you can see that on the gateway site.

    The strange thing is I know I have bypassed the queue after losing the connection to tribble.

    I find it odd how no MMO seem to be letting recently active accounts bypass the queue, seems like the most obvious and basic kind of customer service there is.

    That is intended because that is how they get people into the game that have been waiting for half an hour. Random disconnetcs of ingame ppl :D
    We want to keep the foundry.

    Today I had my day free of work and family, so I thought I might patch and play a while. Patching took like 25 Minutes, enough time to get something to eat rdy. Then I started the game... and waited 47 Minutes in the que. Then at DS9 i went to the exchange, got a DC, had to wait 56 Minutes in the que. After playing like 30 minutes i went to the bathroom for like 30 seconds. COming back, i saw the server timing out. Landing on place 6001 in the que i waited another 37 minutes to get into the game. Now i played like 2 hours, got a dc again and now i am alread 1h and 12 minutes in the que... and still on place 2314...
    Seriously, Cryptic get another Server and solve this TRIBBLE... This is getting disgustingly annoying.

    What I forgot to mention. When i started being in this que, there were like 7k people in the que. Now it is 10k... and my number didnt change while writing this thread...
    Thank you cryptic. you ruined my free day.
    (BUt i have to say, the changes I saw so far are alright)

    I'm currently sitting at #96 in the queue, watching the number of others waiting slowly growing. Currently I am 96 out of 10898.

    Be happy to be in line... My game crashed... Now i cant even access the launcher.
    Looks like Cryptic killed the game^^

    The fact Cyrptic's implementation of a Que is bad and needs to be adjusted to be more fair to subscribers and F2Pers that pay say at lest $70 per year in the c store.

    LOL all the people who pay for this game and think your geting in front of people in the queue that don't pay for this game is false. Everyone is being placed in the queue weather or not you pay or don't pay for it. And if you pay for a free to play game you are a moron. Especially in this game since you can get everything in this game for free

    You really are daft, aren't you?

    Gold/Lifetimers do get ahead of the F2P players, but they still have to queue up behind other Gold/Lifetimers.

    Pretty simple logic there. Don't really understand how so many seem unable to grasp this. Well, okay, I do (they're all total idiots), but that's beside the point.

    And what about the gold members that get disconnects all the time and are still on position 20.000 TWENTY THOUSEND of 21000? **** cryptic... i will look for a new game to play... this is just bull****
