Multi-Mission Customization Question

I've been eyeing the Multi-Mission pack and I know if you have all three ships you can mix and match hulls, saucers, etc but what I'm not certain of is if you can get rid of the awful blue colour scheme they share. All the ones I've seen in-game still have the blue which I guess their players must like but I can't stand.

Anyone who has a Multi-Mission vessel able to tell me if the blue can be gotten rid of?

    Yes. There's the standard 4 materials, and main hull, secondary hull, nacelles and pylons are all interchangeable. The MACO shield skin looks nice on it too .

    not on the vesta skin tho :S
    that white skin has a pale blue overlay, that cannot be colored, to be just as white as the rest of the ship (hell, even if you color it differently, the colors will just mix, making everything a shade of blue...)

    but if you are willing to say goodbye to the white hull, then yes, the blue thingie is gone
