Just a note i turned on DX11

but i was in Drozsana station and in stead of the red/brown look it looked way more dynamic as far as lighting.

although its been awhile since i been on this station (leveling a romulan)

have the lighting and graphics been improved all over the game?

i was very impressed with the station lighting on the station it was deep blacks, reds, bright blue's for table lights. pretty awesome gave a whole new layer of depth without changing the layout at all.

I haven't noticed any changes in the graphics. Though that may be partially because I was too busy trying to figure out how to make the new ui look less blocky and less like something fisherprice might make.

Over-saturated colours and bloom are just about the worst way to 'improve' graphics. And the new UI is ****** terrible, all those preddy coulours...

Definitely. I've noticed graphic improvements all over and especially a lot of added detail to effects.

They increased graphics yes, its in the patch notes. Im not sure why ppl dislike the new ui its very nice to me :D maybe cuz i disable post processing and bloom in my games colors might not be so annoying...

You can blame Taco for that... since a huge part of the almost 6 gb patch you downloaded were texture updates. Pretty nice, no?

I don't like the new ui because it is blocky, clunky, cluttered, and (imo) looks like something that fisherprice might make.

With regards to the new UI - why fix something that wasn't broken.

With regards to everything else - I'm glad I got that DX11 card upgrade 6 months ago from my old one.

    I like the new UI.
And better graphics for that matter.
Once i managed to get in and saw what this expansion did it was enough for me to buy the lifetime sub. :)
