I was actually able to get in shortly after the server came back up, but I didn't stay in because after loading the character screen, I am still missing my extra slot. My account originally started as a trial account when the game was new, never signed up for a subscription and didn't start playing until post-F2P so I wasn't sure when to expect my slot. It didn't show up after the first patch earlier today, so I assumed I was grouped in with the former gold players, and now that it still hasn't shown up I'm not sure what to think.
To anyone else that's made it in and was missing the new character slot, have you received it yet?
I was a trial account and gave it a try but didn't subscribe back then (I want that impressed with the game at the time) and I still haven't got my extra character slot. I returned when I went F2P and it was much better than it was back them and I had 3 character slots. Since them I have used them and bought 4 more char slots which I all use. I'm hoping for the extra new one from this Legacy of Romulus so I can play a Romulan/Reman
That would explain his circumstance perhaps, but I've never bought extra slots. Either way, I thought EVERYONE was supposed to get one new slot. I logged back in again, still no new slot, and I'm #9,674 in the queue with my main character.
silver here, I bought 2 extra slots and run sci/engi/tac fed and 1 engi kdf. on the choose character i do indeed have a new unused slot to roll a rommie with. So no buying extra slots isnt the problem.

Silver here from the start, started playing a month after the F2P launch. I've purchased 12 extra slots total, and I've got a 15th slot available right now to roll a Romulan with, so indeed buying extra slots was not the issue.
Queue over 20,000 now...yeah I don't know why I thought I'd actually be able to play the same day as release. I don't like rolling in with other people who claim this kind of stuff but if I don't get that character slot, why should I ever give them another dollar of my money?
I just logged in again to check before it comes down for maintenance, and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CHARACTER SLOT. Leaving this listed under items that are fixed is obviously bull since it's not just me. If it's not fixed in this upcoming maintenance, I'm gonna riot until it's acknowledged as still being an issue.
That's what has me the most upset, they claim it's fixed and it's not. Why is honesty such a rare commodity...
I had already answered this in another thread, but the issue is this (actually no issue, because it is as intended):
A while back I had something similar happen to me . . . I bought 2 slots from the c-store, and only got one slot. Per an email exchange between myself and support, it was officially explained that since I bought slots as a gold member, then I dropped to silver membership, I lost slots due to downgrading. I technically "owed" them a slot, but sine I had characters in those slots already they did not dock me until I bought the two-slot pack.
If you are a silver, and you did not get your slot, then this is the case with you - you already had too many slots and so you owed one back to Cryptic. It is best to be thankful they do not delete characters if they feel you have too many slots. They just dock it from future purchases.
Today I was hoping for that new slot, but since it was not awarded to me, I can only assume that I somehow owed them two slots and not just one. Hopefully this makes me even with them as I wish to purchase slots later on and hopefully get both instead of one or none when I pay the zen.
Well, if that's the case, then it'd be nice if it was explained upfront rather than having to resort to e-mail exchanges with support, as you had to do. That's really quite the dirty trick in my book as I played as a silver account for a long time with those three slots while only having one character, it was only a few months ago that I actually made characters using my extra two slots. If I "owed" them a slot then they should've taken it long before now, back when it was empty.
