Jolan tru Captains,

Look up! :) As there are many forum threads being created right now, it is hard to reply to every thread with updates, so, as soon as I have them, I will be posting updates in the Notices section towards that displays at the top of every forum/thread/etc. (the red, blue, green and yellow text). I'm with the team as I type and I'll be here through the night with you all, providing updates as I get them.

Getting you in-game and having fun WITH a great playing experience is our TOP PRIORITY! We are all hands on deck and will be throughout the night.

We've got the best players in the world, you all, and sincerely appreciate all of your support, enthusiasm, and patience.

    Brandon, I appreciate the hard work you guys are doing. However, it seems most other people don't really have the same patience about waiting. I am content at waiting if it means you guys get to fix these issues.

    I'm glad to hear that "through the night" bit as a lot of my fleet is Australian and their day IS our night. I'd take a second look on everyone getting their character slot though, I still have not, which is why my thread exists.

    Just a segestion old friend try and link a few into this one so we can have steady stream of info in one spot forum wise other than the banner.

    As far what i've experienced so far its been great but i never even made it to the flotilla yet and well like you i got work tomorrow so i'll try around 5pm EST my time hopefully most of this will be resolved by then......i hope.

    Thanks for the gesture and willingness Branflakes, a lot of us do rage (and i mean me too) but we do appreciate it.

    Thanks Brandon, My entire fleet and I appreciate all that you guys and gals are doing to get the server where it should be. I hope all the big Whigs in Beijing know how hard you guys have been working.

    Why don't you guys just take the shard down for an hour and fix the problem and get that queue taken care of? I mean, we all know you're a business, and like all businesses, you can't make money when you close the doors. But you're gonna make more money taking the shard down for an hour and eliminating this login queue, than you are by leaving people queue'd up, letting them get fed up, and giving up.

    And as unpopular as this may sound, but us lifers should consider temporarily dropping to that back of the line...we obviously aren't going anywhere...it's the silver F2P guys who are just checking things out, that can't get in, that are potential big spenders that we really need to get IN GAME. After what I was able to do in Tribble, the game speaks for itself...they'll have fun with this new content. What needs to happen is to get them IN GAME.

    Interesting you said that. How fitting that a new trailer for a much awaited movie has just been released.

    Seems that expanding the infrastructure should be a top priority with enough capability to handle high usage such as expansion launch. Anything else is just like applying a band-aid to a severed limb; it's gonna keep bleeding customers until it dies.

    Right now, there is a 4k+ queue...It ll take at least 2 hrs to get ingame :( !

    @Brandon: hope you all took shifts on power naps on the over night.
    Hopefull Dan brought you all in some coffee, donuts and bagels this am.

    Tell everyone on the tell that they are doing a helluva job (despite some of the raging going on). Most of us who have been around awhile knew what to expect from an expansion of this magnitude. So keep up the good work. You'll get it all sorted out soon.



    @Quartmaster: only way to put "lifers" at back of the line is for the "lifers" not to queue up. I knew last week that I wasn't planning on trying until Friday at earliest. I did sneak in this am at end of the midnight Emergency Maint. (Thunderstorm came thru and woke me about 90 mins before alarm clock so I made the DOffing rounds with my Mains)

    As much as I enjoyed the Closed then Open Beta and absolutely love LoR, the forum rage is keeping me entertained until everything is sorted.

    y abran go take a good nap then come back , better to have a rested peep then a frustrated cranky tired one .....im gonna wait a few more days and see how this turns out....
    so far 30-minutes a play since the beginning of the patch.....
    and all i have ot say is ive spent 3 times more then a lifer and im NOT as valued or more so?
    NOT COOL BRAN.....and you guys know what ive spent....goto accounting and check.

    While I applaud the work you all are doing, but really seems like LoR was prematurely released. So many problems. :(

    Can you take a look in the bug forum as there is an issue not mentioned. The issue is that we can not delete mails, I have tried a couple of times to delete a spam message, I get the pop up I click the confirm option and the mail is still there.

    This is listed as a known issue in our patch notes here -- we're working on a resolution.

    Thank you I didn't think to look in the patch notes as it only happened recently and thought it would be in the noticfications area above as that is what I have been keeping an eye on today as it was getting updated regularly.

    Will the new mail limnit thingy I have been readins about cause problems with this issue as you may reach it if not able to delete?

Everything is patched up nice and dandy, but after the loading screens has run their course, and the login-screen appears, the music tunes in. Normally we would now have this beautiful team on the right hand side of the slots, but before anything is being rendered, I/We are being CTD'ed. :eek:

    No chance of changing between characters or creating a new one.

    And just where did you pull that fact from?

    I willing to wager I spend more on this game then most if not all Silver players.


    Frankly there no good reason of all the server issue we had the last month other then TRIBBLE poor planning and management of IT resource by Cryptic and PWE.

    If some f2p silver player that never paid a dime can get into the server and those spend money. cryptic only got it self to blame. There is zero reason some who never dropped a dime on this game should be in front of anyone in que.
