Managed to login for 60 secs. Wow ... Just wow ... This took how long to put together.

    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    If you're going to complain, at least make it a good complaint (read: not one exclusive to your subjective aesthetic preferences which seem to be largely contrary to popular opinion).

    Or, at the very, very least, include some constructive commentary about what specifically you do not like, and how it might be improved to your liking.

    I managed to log in and create a new Romulan char, even spent some time on Virinat and from what I saw, the Romulan UI at least, is amazing. I didn't have the opportunity to check out the Klingon and Fed. ones, but from the Romulan one I have every reason to believe that they are good as well and I'll probably like them too.

    Don't care for how stuff get's overlapped. Otherwise it looks fantastic.

    They all are the same UI, except different colors and Romulans get the Singularity panel. :confused:

    Hey just one thing, may not apply to you but when I managed to get in earlier, upon launch the game had reverted to my lower desktop resolution instead of my previous in-game setting of LCD default. So at first, it looked quite blocky and distorted.

    Once I changed the Video Option back to full res, it looked a lot better. I only messed around a short while, but it will take a while to get used to some of the changes.

    I like the GUI, it makes more sense. As for early screenshots, Tribble(the test server) has been open to everyone for awhile.

    As for the konnection issues. I think everyone & they momma trying to log-on at once. Even ppl that haven't played in a year or so

    You do know that you can reconfigure your entire HUD into whatever shape you like, don't you? Pick your colors, move things around, shrink or enlarge the UI.....you do know that, right?

    The reputation system got nerfed to prevent "power creep"; it's called an investment in time and money, and I think I should get a little something for my time and money like being able to stomp the TRIBBLE out of a new guy since I've been playing for three years now! :D

    lol :) Yeah, I know, I was refering to the details, like the lines on the UI and such, while the Fed. one (from what I saw on the dev.blog) is based on LCARS with smooth lines, the Romulan one is more spiky/edgy. That's why I said I expect to like all of them equally if I liked the Romulan one, they're basically the same one with slight differences.

    The "new" UI is a not so good reskin. Just like the textures got compressed and a sharpen filter ran over them to mask it. Take a look at the walls of ESD.

    You can of course phrase it positively and call the UI "more LCARS" and the Textures "updated".

    Oh and the new UI is fantastic, server stability however, well that is a different thread.

    Seriously complaining about the beautiful UI....

    What is next complaining your child picked up new curse words from listening to you try to log in on launch day.
