Anyone remember the Apollo class?

I know it was never seen on screen, but I always had a soft spot for the vertical two nacelle ships. Would be interesting to see what kind of design Cryptic could come up with for it, thinking of the designs for nacelles we've seen intrduced with the Armitage and Regeant. Could be a destroyer class?

    First thet's A kula not Apollo, Legacy screwed that up. but she's also too old of a ship to be in STO.

    It's funny, I still have a cardboard and tape model of the Apollo class that I've made as a kid, and kept this whole time.

    I'm all for an Apollo class, even for lower tiers.

    The NX, D'Kyr, Somraw AND in a day the T'Varo are all in game.

    The Apollo is far younger than all of those.

    Most of those are Zen ships And it's Akula, not Apollo.

    That's cause the ship in j.j verse was based off a mix of the Apollo and the saladin class ship.

    Wouldn't pay for the old school version of the Akula/Apollo-class, but I'd drop a few dimes on some sort of updated version, perhaps as an Escort.

    That there is the Property of Taldren Entertainment Art and science of gaming.There are modders and modlers who got permission to use it.

    That ship was seen in Starfleet Command 1 and 2 Empires at War and Orion Pirates.

    Cryptic can't use it for this sole reason.

    You see it is even on the cover of the game box.

    Starsphere Interactive also used the Akula Class in Star Trek: Shattered Universe fpr the PS2 and XBox.

    On a side note, the cannon Apollo Class seems to be a Vulcan ship:
