Actually, the 'sale' on Steam is the same discount the pack has everywhere. Presumably when the price goes up (as mentioned on the front page), the steam 'actual' prices will be what it goes up to.
Take a look at my Foundry missions! Conjoined, Re-emergence, and . . .
Nope, it is cheaper, at least for UK residents. We get charged the euro rate, of 119, which works out a bit over ?100. I guess steam aren't adding in VAT...

That's what threw me, I guess it's only really a "sale" for some people.
Yea poor us peeps in the UK bit burned does seem cheaper if i'd waited and bought it off steam harsh and i paid out almost strait away.
But like i can get on the game anyhow(after almost 4hours) login server seems borked and one time i got there i had the lifetimer bug of no bonus character(I have 11 already) so was going to log onto my main and buy a few more zen to get 2 more slots and well... kicked me again and again, going to moan else were about this anyhow :P i'll feel a bit robbed while also not getting access to anything i paid for... woop... but this was called by almost everyone its a big launch and we've melted the servers.
But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet, Tread softly because you tread on my dreams
W.B. Yeats Lifer since beta its never been so good! So now can everyone chill this game is going in the right direction :P
yeah that's a lot less than what I paid direct the other day  that's crazy. seriously how are steam able to sell it cheaper than cryptic could sell it to me!?!?!? makes absolutely no sense what so ever!!!
105.22p vs 87.99p why is there such a huge difference cryptic??
I'm not real sure what the issue is here. $125.00 is around 83.00 GPB and around 97 Euros. Both pre-VAT. Add 20% on to that and you're at around 100.00 GBP and 117.00 Euros.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Dam I wish I waited now. I payed just over 100 for this. 88 is a good price.
The steam sale price which ends at the end of the month is a good price but the 109 price which is what it goes up to after the end of the month is more then what I payed.
Ah well that's the problem I do usually have with steam is when an item goes on sale you never know when a discount is applied. I got burned before on that from steam.

Surely it's an issue when cryptic aren't selling their own product at the same price? It's actually 87.99 GBP with vat (on steam it actually states all prices include vat) and I paid just over 105 pounds direct to cryptic/pwe

It seems to me the problem is Steams, as they have probably made an error.

Steam display prices, what you see is what you pay, as a UK resident paying in Pounds on Steam (or has been for the 60 or so games I have, admittedly I haven't added the Legacy pack to cart, as I already own it)

The issue is the steam price is 87.99 GBP WITH VAT ADDED ON !!!! While the PWE site order was around 105 or 109 GBP with taxes added on....
Quite a difference...ehhhh
The problem is PWE's currency conversion which decided that $125 = 119 euro which when crappily converted turns into around 105..... While steam has a better currency conversion rate and directly converts from USD to GBP at a better rate !
Got it? Or are you going to argue about this with a European that buys things using Steam?
I'm not "arguing" anything. But it is possible that Steam has made a mistake in the pricing. It's not the first time Steam has ever made a boo-boo.
As someone who plays over 20 games I can assure you that Cryptic isn't the only company in the industry that makes mistakes.

I remember paying more than what it's listed for on steam, I forgot about VAT.
Sorry folks.

Change the URL/use the options on the page to see the UK GBP, USD, and EUR prices, and see the difference.
