    I have the latest launcher and have been able to launch the game. But I lost connection to the servers and now when I come to the part of the launcher that patches it gives me an error 14. I am having no other problems with my internet right now.

    wow, this is great!! The beta test romulan weekend and the launcher won't launch. It does say check your internet connection, I suppose if there was a problem I wouldn't be talking to you right now. You know this is why I haven't bought a lifetime, just when you think, WOW, i'm gonna buy it, its so worth it!! Then this happens to remind you why you shouldn't. Not to mention all the disconnects that happen and the lag. I would love to point a finger at the responsible party, but who could that be? I just have to say, that I have been on a constant disappointment with this game, really glad I don't have to pay for it, sad that I did buy the box version. So in conclusion, thanks for dangleing that carrot in front of me with the Romulan weekend.:mad:

    I realize they did network maintenance today... however, this maintenance didn't solve the issue that I am having with the launcher...

    Last night, I was unable to actually log onto the Perfect World website... was getting an error, but since they did this network maintenance that problem has been solved...

    The Issue still looms that I can't even get the engage button to appear on my launcher... it continues to stay at the Patching and doesn't do forward progress from that...

    I suddenly find my game launcher not working. I get a message the states that the Cryptic game launcher has stopped working. I tried rebooting with no luck. Anybody else get this? Any solutions out there that someone could share? Thanks in advance.

The initial 'band-aid' was to manually replace a launcher that stopped updating itself and the first replacement worked for 1 DAY, then died again. I think it's time I post my account for sale on craigs list.

    Happened to me and cant fix it using this, i hate how this problem just appears been playing fine for months and now this can anyone help, im re-downloading it after uninstalling it

    what is the deal with the 3 GB patch every single time i log in and the 5 GB patch when i log out these patches have run every single time i have logged in and out this last few days
    the amount is not the problem the fact that i have too wait every time too complete the patch is not the problem
    what is concerning me is the amount of times you want too download and write this too my SSD

    please sort this out it needs addressing

    I am having the same issue. I haven't tried reinstalling the Launcher manually. Will that fix it?

    i've downloaded the link from the first post bout 3 times already this day. Still not getting in. It doesn't even load the splash window. it just tries to connect then errors on the 2nd try

    while patching the amount downloaded " Patched " and the reciebed Kbs . dont remain. if you close the launcher, or server restart u are .. as if never started.

    there is a way to patch to an temporal file... save it , safe, and this allow you to re -start ... at the point you left.patching previously
    please fix it .

    Well this is what happens when I run the most current launcher:

    Well, I'm now getting a box in the middle of my launcher that says LOADING.

    02:13 PM Launcher have restarted alone .. and loading pop up.. on center launcher screen dont let me login and restart patch.
    I have quit, restart and bam now Launcher remeber where it leaves.
    On EU Spain... 4 hours now till i start to patch. were the time when servers were offline and left one hour to anouced 19:00 UTC
    well this is free to play not a Beta, ppl spend Euros here.... come on..

    02:32 PM. i foundt that i have on download forder..... not on game folder: Localdata CrypticError.exe dbghelp.dll ERRORS.log pcl.log

    aside with laucher posted here on top,Star Trek Online.exe and St 25.2012102a.8_EN.exe

    why? why? why? couse i click the startreck online.exe i download from here from Download folder. ( bam)

    it have to be placed... on... your game folder...C:\...........\Startreckonline\Cryptic Studios .( shigh )

    the top of forum is getting .... very annoying..we are we are we are.... look at you just write this down when ppl is really tired of patch.

    03:10 PM. on launcher it say Sever Status (green) is anyone playing? how? please answer... have to selecto some on launcher options?

    3:16 PM i give up.. this is shame. i dont go to buy any pack :P. Good nite.

    3:48 PM. reading on support forum about.. pando media and so...PMB.exe i closed it from the Taskmanager, and closed Avast and I see my characters but cant play....

    This is getting ridiculous, this plus NWO taking us down already before..
    Unknown reason for login failure?
    wrong date on the launcher for downtime?

    extensive issues, lag has been an issue for while now.
    I really suspect you fired someone you shouldn't have,
    and have no idea how much bandwidth to allocate,
    and are too cheap to buy more.

    I usually don't post, I prefer the silent majority.
    To join in with the current choir, I was seriously considering legacy.
    Not now.
