plasmonic leech, assimilated console, rule 62 based on situation, tachyokinetic converter, zero romulan console and depending on situation, aceton assimilator, isometric charge.

but those are also based on ship.

I use the Borg Assimilated console and the Zero-point console from the Task Force Omega and Romulan reputation systems. I also use the Tachyokentic converter from the Lobi store to max out my crits.

Iso will be mostly redundant once folks hit T5 Nukara rep methinks.

Otherwise in full agreement. Now if only the Tachys were BtA...

My favorite has to be the Theta Vents. Murders those pesky crew members and holds them in place. Fun for the whole family!

These three consoles immediately come to mind:
    1) Borg Assimilated Universal Module (crits, +weapon power)
    2) Zero Point Energy Conduit (crits, +subsystem power)
    3) Tachyokinetic Converter (crits, +turn rate)

These are must-have items if you want the best possible ship combat performance and damage output.

Borg Assimilated and Tachyokinetic Converter. Did anyone else mention those? :P

I would say the best Universal consoles are the

    Borg Assimilated Universal Module
    Zero Point Energy Conduit
    Point Defense System
    Isometric Charge

Others I have used seem to be more as useful but these are useful almost all the time

Since nobody has mentioned it, I'm gonna throw my vote down for the enhanced plasma manifold you get if you have the Oberth-class c-store ship. It's a nice little reusable double battery.

Hey, everyone else has already mentioned the borg console and the tachyowhatsis and the new romulus rep console...

i love how nobody actually read any of the previous posters suggestions,

really anything 'except' bioneural warhead can find a place.
oh 'n the photonic displacement isn't really all that useful unless you absolutely hAve to have another method of escape.

My Romulan Liberated Borg character made it to Level 30 and beat the (old) Defense of New Romulus with the skill point bug. :D

On my Fleet Defiant, I always slot:
    Assimilated Module
    Tachyokinetic Converter
    Cloak

I will swap out cloak and another science console for the following (depending on what I'm doing):
    Anti-Matter Spread
    Subspace Jumper
    Vent Theta Radiation

Consoles I'd like to pick up some day:
    Resonance Cascade Modulator (Team Fortress)

The Zero-Point Energy Conduit is nice if you don't have high critical hit. If you already have a high critical hit, the Zero-Point Energy Conduit doesn't add a lot. And the power increase usually isn't enough to get worked up over.

I wouldn't bother, it is a weak RSP that works on the whole team. Perhaps potent if stacked a few times, but Extend Shields does a better job and doesn't cost money.

Antimatter Spread for any ship with Saucer Sep can be a nasty trick, especially for PvP but the OP did not specify which we are dealing with here.

Point Defense can also be handy and very powerful depending on rather or not the ship you have it on is setup to use that energy type.

An RSP? How so? It just removes bleedthrough and gives a 20% boost to shield resistance.

I was mostly interested in consoles from a "end game" PvE perspective, and consoles Federation have access to.
