What to do with all these Warbirds??

So I said to heck with it and threw down the cash for the Legacy pack...

First-world problems:

I'm not really sure what I am going to do with all of these Warbirds...

:D

Having gotten to Tier-3 on Tribble, I can say that the Mogai is looking pretty insane at T5 already... :D

    You'll do with that what I do with most of the C-Store ships I've bought over the years: replaced them with Fleet ships. :D

    Some of the Console set bonuses seem nice, though. :)
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    I have wall to wall alts but Im not buying the big pack simply because there are several ships in it Id never use (fighter for a start)

    Create alts, convince yourself you're going to do something different this time - this character's not going to worry about elite STFs and minmaxing, he's going to fly a Haakona torpedo boat because it's huge and intimidating and torpedoes spread flying everywhere looks awesome, or a D'derix because it's iconic.

    Then, a week after hitting 50, get bored with that and go back to a variation on the same escort setup you use on your other characters.

    I switch between ships on my Fed main constantly...I have no doubts that once my Rom gets to 50, I'll bounce between ships as well.

    Create a couple of Romulan characters and have them fly different ships. :P

    Y'all are thinking small. Invade Cardassia? Pah. That is both illogical and would ruin any chance of them being playable.

    Now, the Gamma Quadrant, on the other hand...

    Worked brilliantly the first time, it drew the Dominion into the Alpha Quadrant where they could be isolated from reinforcements and defeated, allowing Odo the opportunity to alter Founder perception of solids and broker a durable treaty.

    That was the plan all along.

    too bad vreenak had to die to make the plan happen though :rolleyes:

    i will probably buy one of them ships off the z-store, but i have plans for the t'varo.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
    Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

    That's what I'm thinking. The ability to just TRIBBLE around with builds is what I'm really looking for.

    Heck on my Fed toon I've already bought the Vesta 3-pack, the Multi-vector escort and some other smaller c-store ships.

    So really, I'm getting a literal f-ton of stuff to play with which is what will keep me going.

    I just hope that the legacy pack isn't a "if you don't own it, you can't compete" thing with having all of these special consoles to play with...

    Either the abilities aren't that great on the higher tier ships maybe or, if they are, feel bad for the peeps who didn't buy it / couldn't afford it..

    I think Romulans are going to be hell to deal with in PvP :D

    Exactly why I didn't bother buying the Legacy Pack. I only want the Mogai and Valdore. To heck with everything else.

    Now if they sold two-ship discount packs, I would've jumped on that. :P

    What to do with all these Warbirds? Answer is very simple. You blow them up and watch the pretty explosions.

    Nah, you give a Ha'apax a dragon setup, then go blow every Klingon ship you can find into spacedust. :D

    I would have thought a dragon setup would be more suited for a D'Deridex?
    Like the Romulan Alliance System? Of course you do, it sounds fine to you because you aren't Romulans, you're FED or KDF who are going to make a Romulan alt, it makes a HUGE difference in perspective.

    The SubAdmiral version is basically just an RA version of a D'D. There are two other RA ships that are either Sci or Tac. But they are basically the lower and upper peices of the H'apax.

    The VA version is a bit more interesting. :D

    What's a "dragon setup"?

    And the "VA version" is the multi-vectoring warbird?
