Ship Color Customisation needs upgrade!!

I have a complaint and requests for the devs. I can understand having limited colors for faction based ships, so they do not stray too far from thier respected licenced theme, but the alien ships shouldn't be limited in this way. I have a Ferengi D'Kora, the ship is my super favorite in the whole game!! But its an ugly brown color, double yuk! A civilian ship should be allowed to reflect the personality of its respected owner!! I want the lights to glow a pretty purple and be outlined in purple too like the Aegis set uses blue. I would also like to have my choice of colors for the hull, not parial with weirdo tribal designs, I want checkers or polkadots, smiley faces or bunnys, perhapse just all black or lemon yellow. The point is, let us choose, especialy for the price we have to pay for thier rariety!!!
The look the jem"hadar set gave it was so perfect, but when I switched to the MACO XII set, its looked all yuk again. :(

How about a disco ball for the top? "Here comes Luna, the party has started!" hehe

    I can understand some of this, 8ut not the point you are taking it, I think we should 8e a8le to fully customize the colors, lights, window colors, and trails of the ship, while removing the set's colors, or 8eing a8le to keep them (Similar to how kits work). However, the design thing should 8e over the top, I do think we should get designs for the whole horoscope, seeing as I would love to fly in a 8lue/8lack with Scorpio signed ship.

    I really, really, really, really really hope this is you poking fun at the people running about with foot-tall pink aliens dressed in salmon, green, and purple uniforms, and flying ships with as many ludicrously ostentatious visuals as possible attached. Because if not, my last withered shred of faith in humanity might die off for good.

    My goal is for the ability to customise the alien ships overall color, and glowy parts, not just the ugly designs that are optional. But, You can not tell me you would not also like to add star patterns, flames or a checker stripe to your ships. I love purple, I love its mysterious and magical look, if I could have my ship shimmer with it like my Crystaline pet, I would have the most totally awesome ship in the whole game!!! :)

    They use to have a lot more color customization via console commands, but those were all removed about 2-3 patches into the game. Fleet actions use to be awesome, you could even customize the weapon colors.

    I'd be satisfied just being able to see the few muddied down colors we do get to choose from... but no. You might make your ship look a shade less drab in the customization panel, but when you get into it in space all of the colors are pretty much gone.

    There needs to be more primary colors, not the globby washed out mud that we get to choose from now, and in the Rommy patch.

    I also play Star Wars the Old Republic, before on thier you had to deal with what ever color of outfit you came acrossed or bought. But now they have added dye packs to change the colors of thier outfits and armors. I was thinking, why not sell some sort of dye packs for civilian ships, to upgrade thier options so we can personalise thier colors?
