Elite Hangar Pets

Hiya, I'm thinking about buying a carrier soon, and was wondering is it better to get Elite Scorpion Fighters or Elite Tholian Widows (From the T5 Science Starbase)? The tholians seem to have more weapons and abilities (according to the wiki) and I was wondering which was ACTUALLY better?

(I'm also considering buying a Jem'Hadar Dreadnought, and as I already have a bug ship, I'd assume that Elite Jem'Hadar Attack Ships would be much better than scorps anyway)

    Elite Mesh Weavers are ridiculously awesome. Their APB spam acts as a force multiplier for everyone on the team.

    The stats on the Elite Jem Hadar Attack ship hanger pets (not the fighters, but the frigates) are off the wall ridiculous.

    Unless their AI is completely boned (very likely) then these things are by far the hardest hitting hanger pets if you can obtain them.

    Back to the topic - I tried a Recluse with 2x elite scorps and 2x regular widows... In my opinion widows were better. So given the opportunity I'd go for elite widows. Tried advanced weavers too, they are a viable alternative to widows - not much firepower, but their FAW +APB works.

    The APB/FAW combo is ridiculously good in PVE.

    My apologies, its the Elite Mesh Weavers that are available from the fleet starbase, not Widows.
