Rhi Atmopsheric Event Feedback

Props to the Environmental Team in creating an Atmospheric Event. Seems like it was similar to what was suggested months ago in the Dyson Sphere thread. In a way it was like playing the old Star Wars Game - Rogue Squadron, flying over cities taking out walkers.

I was flying a To'Duj Fighter, while 2 flew Yachts, 1 a Delta Flyer, and the last flying a Tholian Fighter. We failed all the Bonuses, except the first wave. And for some reason we never got credit for the other waves. So at the end, we were flying around waiting for something to happen that never did.

The Elachi Fighters really seemed to tear up my To'Duj like a hot knife through butter (while having MK12 gear), while the others survived greatly. I literally blown up like 10 times, which made me feel that it was a bad idea to fly the To'Duj. So I feel the team should look into that.

Another major annoyance is that sometimes I found myself stuck in the sky at Elachi Walker height, so think I got stuck on an invisible wall. So think there needs to be somekind of proximity warning, indicating you are reading the boundry.

And last, but not least, the Reward. After going through that we walked away with 15 Marks, and I personally found that to be really cheap reward, given the effort. In that same time you can get 4x that reward just by doing a regular Fleet Event. And with Romulan Marks, you are just better off doing Epohhs.

So the only reason to do this is for Elachi ship kills. That's it. Which I hope that will change when this goes live.

Rh'Ihho Station Feedback:

Effectively the same as Fleet Starbase Incursion in having to defeat Saboteurs and a final rush at the end for the "boss".

Felt the end was rushed with no obvious objective (I.E. not sure where that final device was).

Also felt like Elachi was prone to Physical Damage, but when tried the Sword it didn't work. So guess they are highly vulnerable to Kinetic Damage. (Which means Grenades are the best weapon).

And the Marks at the end were 37. Pretty miserable compared to Incursion, where you get 2x that amount. And like said above, for Romulan Marks, you are better off with Epohh Tagging. So all that's left is the kill accolades for Elachi.

Which means pretty much these events will be used up pretty quickly.

Rhi Atmospheric event would be better with Vo'quv's.....

and I agree about the To'duj. Felt like it was a flying disadvantage, although I didn't die in it using a full Tholian Set. Battle cloak on it was quite nice but the weird shooting arcs makes using dual cannons quite hard. At moment waves just don't complete it seems. Even if you kill them quick the bonus objectives never complete either. I suspect it's a bug.

Ain't managed to do the space station. Hard enough getting the queues for these to pop.

I'm working on it! Nearly tried glitching my Vo'quv in last night but people wouldn't queue! :(

Btw should they make this the soundtrack to Rhi Atmospheric Event?

This event was a lot of fun, loved that you could fly through the legs of the walkers.

I also routinely got stuck in the sky near the spawn point.

The walkers I felt could be "Trekked" up a bit, they looked a little like the newer War of the Worlds vehicles.

Nice work overall. It was a long event for low reward however.

I tried my best, couldn't find a way to glitch a carrier in though! :'( Did discover how to make your character invisible though! XD Shame we can't take our starships into these sorts of events. Even if it's an exploit, it adds a lot of fun.

I went in the Romulan Kestrel Runabout, with default gear, and Hazard Emitters 1 slotted.

Considering the intent is to be able to do it on the Romulan Tiercel Shuttle that you are given for free just before the start of the quest series that leads you here, it seems that the enemies are a bit on the over powered side.

I was solo, and was trying to use the shuttle squads to help, but they were getting decimated fairly easily.

It was fun, but some tuning seems in order.

I had a lot of issues with this one. Like the others, I got stuck in the air a lot. Also, at the very beginning I took the assignment to mean that the whole mission should be done in the shuttle only to find I was completely outmanned and outgunned. After respawning about 5 times I finally said enough is enough. I exited the mission and attempted to go to my shuttle bridge so I could change ships and nothing happened. I even tried to transwarp to New Romulus and nothing. I had to exit out of the game altogether and then go back in so that I could be in my Mo'Gai. Then I was able to take care of the space battle no problem.
In the atmosphere was a whole other story. I kept getting stuck, I lost my back up, and the commands on the screen, which by the way were great. I again had to leave the game and come back in to be able to complete this whole mission.
