Do Lifers still get to go 1st in que on Tribble?

Greetings All,

I just tried to log on to the test server and was told I was number 98 in line :eek:

I've been playing STO since open beta and this was the 1st time I'd ever seen a que screen :D

Not that it really matters but I was wondering if the lifer speedy check in worked on tribble has well because if it does there were a hack of a lot of lifers trying to get in.

    nope, lifers don't even get full vet rewards unless you've actually got 1k days under your belt

    It's lifers AND subscribers who get in ahead of the silvers. Hope that explains why ;). Have fun beta testing all the new awesome content.

    I doubt it. As a lifer I'm at 13,503 out of 13,503!!!
    Yeah.. a sign of things to come? Is this the Legacy of STO?

    Two weeks of server problems and now this...

    Get it together, please.

    But I am a Lifer and have been since open beta, it just seems like tribble is 1st come 1st served but I can live with it ;)

    Not to be (too) mean, but they need an F2P bump feature that when a Gold member is in que it knocks the Freepers off to make room.

    As long as people are actually testing and posting bugs they find I'm fine with not being to get in right away, but for those just putting in an hour to get a reward or treating this like live server number 2.......Grrrrrr, Grumble Grumble Grrrrrr.

    The jump-in-queue-numbers thing was a known bug in Neverwinter. Looks like they have it here too.

    Yep, that was just a display glitch. Just pay attention to the smaller number that is dropping, that should be your position in the queue.

    They do, it's part of the LTS, and only on Holodeck not tribble.

    I have a really hard time believing the kind of people complaining about this are trying to get on Tribble to "test" anything.

    Complete shot in the dark there. Their willingness to spam up the first two pages of the test subforum bumping out actual testing threads speaks for itself though.

    No they don't, which is now ANOTHER Vet benefit that Cryptic has reneged on, and now will probably say they never had it that way. When we ALL know it was. Cryptic's reply will be that we all are having a collective hallucination or something and that they never said of promised such a thing, or some such nonsense in their Orwellian double speak.

    speak for your self man, I want to get in there and test out the romulan content, since I was so rudely left out of the closed beta, I've been around longer then dirt, I contributed to the game and forums for a long time, yet no invite.

    ok, fine, don't get invited to the closed beta, but you can be damn sure I want to try out this stuff on open beta, no way I am going to be in a situation where the first I ever try anything is when it goes live, that's BS.

    So yeah, I do want to test.

    Yeah, unless there are 447 lifers in front of me, I don't think we get to the head of the line.
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    First off, it's lifers / golds combined, not lifers bump golds, golds bump silvers...

    Secondly, I wish there was a way to fix that glitch - nothing more aggrivating then seeing 10 of 125, then 13,969 of 13,969, then 5 of 135...
    Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

    There is no Queue skipping on tribble IIRC, I have several friends who are lifers and they had queue.

    I'm a lifer and I don't remember anything in the description mentioning the Test Servers. All perks are for the Holodeck.

    I'm thinking it might be borked anyway as I'm currently 26255 out of 26255 ... seems a bit high.

    think it's the first time in ages I've seen a login queue. Last time a few years back went right to #1 :D

    Sounds like they are getting some good particpation which I am sure is helping them plan for the launch. I think that occasionally the launcher can't provide your queue position and puts some placeholder data in there instead and then recalculates and provides true queue position.

    I also doubt they are applying perks the queues as they are looking to see what kind of demand to expect .
