Who decided to beat Veril with the ugly stick?

So after the character wipe I rolled a Klingon to play through the new and revamped missions. They are awesome and you should all feel proud.
Tonight I was replaying the Romulan missions (because, you know, character wipe) got to Crossroads at Crateris and when I got to the part where you meet Veril my reaction was literally: "AH! What the hell?!?"
The change to Veril is bad and everyone involved should feel bad. Before she had a sort of "cute monster girl" vibe going for her. Now Veril looks like she has a sickly yellow fish head.
Playing around with customizing her after the mission it appears as if her head type has been changed from Reaman 2 to Reman 1. Playing around with the facial sliders I was even able to get pretty close to her original look, with the exception of skin color which doesn't seem to be an option. =\
And the weird part is that during the mission when dialog screens came up she kept alternating between her new look (introduction and Evacuation sequences and everything after) and old look (the transmitter portion, which is how I was able to take screenshots).

Now you need to customise to her to give her a somewhat less "fish" look. Did she have a parent from Innsmouth?
And I too saw the flashing between the different styles.
Hopefully they change it back, since this one is pretty repulsive (although, that isn't to say the original was in the good looking category either).
Whoa there friend you, might need to slow down. The look its different, sure. Came to a bit of a shock to me as well. But its bad...??? That's a matter of opinion. An OPINION I do not share. She reminds me of the Hive queen in SGA, or the Borg Queen.
Deathly in appearance, but has some magic too it.
The old version looked more like the other male ones but this one more female, and i like it.
I'm not saying she pretty, i saying she looks evil and awesome. I did also say "deathly" as in Death. Deathly not pretty.
And i'm glad she on my side.
Indeed, I really want to have a pale choice for my character like it was before or in Nemesis, but it seems we can't.
You all realize there are three different head options when editing Veril, right??
They have the original, the new, and a "real" Reman option...
