Odd things happening when being queued

Well, something very odd is happening here. Trying to test out the new content and suddenly a message pops up that you're the 57th out of 57th in the login queue.

All right, people testing stuff out! That's good.

But then, suddenly, after a few minutes of waiting, you see the following message:

"We're sorry, but the game servers are currentlyf ull and there is a queue to start playing. Your queue position is 1127 out of 1127."

And from that point on the queue just holds...

You start to wonder why people just won't log out, eh? (:

This particular little annoyance is in Mythbusters fashion..

I go from being 177 out of 290 to 2424 out of 2424. And back to 290 out of 290, then 157 out of 302.

Another thing that irks me is I thought gold and lifetime subscribers get a jump ahead in the queues over free to play players. Unless this policy has been changed?

Same thing here. Got to 289 out of 292 then up to the last place out of over 3000.

I thought the same thing. I had no problems yesterday logging in to test out the new content...now I'm 2655 out of 2655. Lifetime membership....yeah so not worth it now.

most of the people on right now are not true testers. they only on to get the reward not give real feedback. they need to give us closed beta testers priority queue. just saying:mad:

same here, but i think its just coming down, if ur 90 and than u go up again to 3000+ actually ur on 90 place just strange bug that shows that ur 3000+ and not 90th, i watched to the queue for some time and ur actual place is dropping just need to wait little longer

) and about that 3000+ never mind :P

I think they should go back to closed testing, I mean, why bother with player tests? if they are going to make it open with the promise of a free gift, that just clogs the server with people looking for freebies instead of looking for bugs. Any free gifts should go to the closed beta testers who actually helped the development process by reporting glitchs and bugs they found. If anything, they should get priority when logging on instead of getting shafted and shoved at the back of the line

don't know if it will work for anyone else, but when you switch screens out of game then back it shows your true position for tribble

Been trying to get in all morning, queue is ridiculous. If they want people to use this, gotta up the resources enough o support it.

And the queue bug is crazy! Spend a ton of time waiting for it to go down from 500 or so, it slowly ticks down, and now I'm 3758 out of 3758, back to the end again (and it grew 7x somehow?)

Gives you the warm fuzzy that this is all ready for primetime, and won't be buggy or crashing constantly upon release. Or not...

You jump ahead of silver players. Not all the other gold players that are also waiting.

Trust me if you think it's not a significant difference, you're free to try it the other way.

I think the higher numbers thing is a result of the window being out of focus.. whenever I'm alt-tabbed to another window while the queue update happens, I'm something in the 3000's, but it if it updates while the window is in focus, it seems to display normally.
