Best hangar pets for the Atrox

Last night I sprung for the 5000 zen plus the bonus and used it to buy an Atrox for my Fed Engineer and a Kar'Fi for my KDF engineer. As I am new to the carriers, (experimented a little with the Vo'Quv) I was wondering what people think are the best pets to have on these ships.

The advanced Stalkers seem like an obvious choice, as the default ones aren't too bad for crowd control, but I also just hit Romulan Rep 3, and was wondering if the purple Scorps were worth their exorbitant price.

For the Kar'Fi, I was thinking of the advanced frigates. Anyone have any feedback on those as well, or should I hit up the Klingon Shipyards for that?

    For my Kar'Fi I use Advanced Orion Interceptors and Advanced Orion Slavers. They are very fast, have the added bonus of getting me some free contraband, and draining weapons and engines of the target.

    For my Atrox I have tried a few different pets, and currently I am running with the Advanced Stalkers and Danube shuttles. Stalkers to soften up shields and the Danube for the tractor beams to hold targets in place.

    Best pets for the Atrox are Runabouts and Scorpions, but I have to also state it depends on how you play it. I use Advanced Peregrine, but I bought those a long time ago and there are better things out now. Anything Elite is really nice.

    Since you have hit the level in Romulan rep. to provide them, I'd say definitely go for the Scorpions, they are definitely worth their price. Have one hangar of those at least untill you can afford to have the other elite Fed. pets from a fleet that has hit T5 sci. or untill yours does.
    You can go with one hangar Scorps and the other...well pretty much depends on your preference, make your combinations of hangar pets that you think would get the job done with their abilities combined in a certain situation. You might want to go with advanced Stalkers if you want them to strip shields, or go with runabouts if your own setup is tuned to strip opponets shields.

    I use advanced scorpions (I don't have elites quite yet), and Elite Stalkers.

    Advanced S'kul fighters are the best damage dealing fighters in the game and those belong to the Kar'Fi. The Fer'jai frigates are not bad but not as good.

    For the Atrox you want Elite Scorpions for maximum damage. If you can get them Yellowstones are great as well. For the moment though Advanced Stalkers will strip shields very quickly but they do not deal as much damage as the Scorpions. So one Advanced Stalker and one Advanced Scorp or normal Peregrine can be a good bet.

    scorps seem like the go to pets for alot of carriers will be nice when we get some more choices tho

    would be nice if the Atrox gets fighters that are an equal to 2 flights of B'Rotlhs

    elite danubes (aka yellowstones) + stalkers/elite scorps
    best choice for atrox
