Our fleet just finished the embassy project on the KDF side to unlock the tailor and acquire the senate robes. (as listed in the description of the project) Once we unlocked it. Nothing. Just the Bortus outfit that we had unlocked ages back from the main star base!?
What gives? What is the point of even having the embassy tailor if it is not going to give what it promised!
It's simply another indication of Cryptic's neglect with the KDF. You shouldn't be surprised, since the KDF's uniform selection is awful compared to Fed side. And this is the faction that in Star Trek movies and TV shows, has shown more uniform variances than the far, far more uniform in appearance Starfleet. Yet in STO, the Feds have variety, while the KDF has a laughable selection.
It's our punishment for playing kdf! Grind and grind some more through 3 embassy tiers and our reward ... spend dilithium at the very end to get nonexistent robes. How dare you suggest otherwise!

Think about the logic of your statement. We grind and grind...spend dilithium...to get nonexistent robes. Why would klingons be getting Romulan senate robes? It would make sense for the KDF to get them after LOR is released because rommies will join the ranks of the kdf. The other thing that's confusing to me is that we are now aiding the Romulan republic. Do they even have a senate? And even if they did, would they be giving us robes if we're Klingon? I could see giving robes making sense if I were a Romulan/Reman allied to the KDF. Also, it's remotely possible that a Klingon/orion/gorn might receive an honorary robe for helping the Romulan republic.
Now, I think they'd make great dressing gowns. Lots of flaps to stop your nether regions getting chilly!
I'm the guy that uses unconventional builds, and don't fall to the normal. I also don't believe in "No-BS" TRIBBLE, it's in the game, it's ready to be used. Think Clint Eastwood in Heartbreak Ridge.
Only a fed would want to sit in in the mess hall growing old surrounded by trinkets. Perhaps the chef could bring a salad and prune juice.
Sounds right up your street senior!

Problem on the fed side. I think not! My fed toon has had his robes for a long time now.
Yup, my fed toon can swan around with nothing but the robe on!

I remember in the patch notes (February 14) where they said it wasn't working for KDF but it's embarassing that they still haven't been able to make this fix after nearly three months have passed with them aware of the issue.

Thanks for looking that up.

I wanted some because, when the survivors of the end of the romulan empire as they knew it sully the first city with their dirty footsteps, it will amuse me to be wearing the robes of their precious senate.
If I could find a way to use it for lavatory paper in front of them without them passing out in the presence of a Klingon in all his glory, I would.

Don't get me wrong it gets my targ to so to speak but it doesn't surprise me after 3+ years of operation: ignore KDF.
Ive got a Romulan "counts as" kdf toon. Full crew, Fleet D7. Romulan weapons and consoles, everything. All i needed to finish him off was the robes..

LG longcoat needed.
Might as well give the Senate robes as well
R.I.P
Just pretend it's a bathrobe
What Cryptic should consider before releasing anything.
The one that killed the Romulan Senator.
I could see him putting it among his trophies in the mess hall on the crew deck. Beyond that, sounds silly and implausible.
