A few of the things I have noticed while levelling up...
When you are killing Infected Khellids, it tells you that "Enemies only have a chance to drop items."
This might make more sense if you said "Only enemies have a chance to drop items instead.
In the Khellid Cave, when given the option to disable the strange machine, the bullet point next to that option is overlapping the word disable.
Noticed that during many of the cut-scenes the world is still loading objects as the cut-scene is playing out. Shouldn't these all be pre-rendered?
During the invasion cutscene, there is one romulan who has his hands in front of him and thrashing as though he is struggling with one of the robot flyers, but there is nothing in his hands or by him.
During the Klingon tutorial, several of the tip windows pop up at the same time.
Not only are they overlapping each other (since they point to the same area - upper right UI tips) but the VO overlaps as well.
The VO also overlaps the mission VO dialogue.
The holotutorial shows you are holding a disruptor, but the gun looks different than the icon.

Of course only enemies drop items. Are you trying to kill allies for their loot? =p
The tip is intended to relay that you don't get a drop every time you kill something. They only have a chance of dropping items.

The observation had to do with the wording. "Enemies only have a chance to drop items." should read as "Only enemies have a chance to drop items."
borticus' point was that you are misinterpreting the tooltip. The point is that not every enemy will drop loot. Not that loot can only be obtained from enemies.
Of course the point was that to me the wording made it sound like enemies could only drop items, as opposed to other things.
I admit that when I read it, I did take it to be pointing out that only enemies (not allies or neutral npcs) dropped items. In which case the alternate wording would be preferable for clarity.
But even taking it to mean that enemies only have a chance to drop an item it should be worded more clearly.
Something like:
"Enemies sometimes drop items when they are killed."
When you take command of the ship it shows a Federation cutscreen
Wondering why when the captain relieves you and tells you to go to your rack to rest, you instead go to the holodeck. Maybe he can tell you to go unwind with some target practice first, then go hit the rack.
There is a targetting reticule around the captain when the cutscene shows you pulling your blade to finish him off.
Kits do not show up even when using the visible option.
When you hit lvl 11 and get the mission to pick up your DOFFs, there is no mission indicator showing where to go to get them.
Armor is not showing up even when selected as visible.
The armor goes for Klingons as well
Diburnium Reinforced Body Armor Mk IV (Reward from The Price of Nuetrality) does not give the option to show armor - IE there is no little eye icon next to the armor when equipped.
Oddly enough, Shemol (my Fed BOFF) DOES show body armor when equipped, meaning this seems to be restricted to my Romulan character and BOFFs.

I don't know this might be kind of fun. :P
I mean Tovan totally looks like he is hiding some choice goodies he is not telling me about.
And you just know Avrak is hording some bottles of Romulan Ale. Seems it could be profitable to "liberate" a few from him.

It's "Enemies only have a chance to drop items."
Not "Enemies only have a chance to drop items."
I have tried but all offensive abilities are disabled in social zones and plasma grenades have not given friendly fire for a few seasons.

The voice for the tip says "only enemies" though the text says "enemies only."
