    Ahhhhh PWE, your games need separated network hubs if you ever want them to be smooth and desirable player experiences....

    I am disabled, living in an assisted living facility. I use STO as a way to keep my mind active. So yes down times are inconvenient and frustrating but I am grateful for the chance to play this great game and so I can put up with the downtime because I love the game. Oh, by the way, I am also a lifetime subscriber.

    but that kills them from saving money.....to buy equipment would cost them money, but they would make more money if they had happy players/customers :rolleyes:

    Ummm, I hate to get technical but usually a prediction comes before the thing being predicted, that's more of a postdiction. ;)

    They went ahead and did Thursday's patch? Yeah, because a Thursday morning when many people are at work in the U.S. is a more important time than prime time in the U.S. :\

    According to the release notes board, they are using this unexpected downtime for weekly maintenance. So it will likely stay down for another hour or more.

    No, the server went down unexpectedly. They did a favor by putting the patch through while the server is already down.

    I wish there was some text message alert we could sign up for that would announce server up and down status. I keep running down to the computer to check, and it is bumming me out. :)
