Looking for feedback on 2 builds

Hello,

So I am going about tuning up 2 of my toons and after getting some good advice with my eng assault cruiser toon I figured I'd come back for more advice. :D

1st up is a tac captain flying a Fleet Defiant. This build may or may not need much tooling, but I figured I'd get some input anyways!

2nd is my Sci captain flying a LRSV-R. Now I haven't played him in awhile so some of the powers may not be as effective anymore. I do want to keep him in a torp sci boat as that was a lot of fun the last time I played him. Any changes/adjustments will be very helpful! Also, I am looking to eventually getting a Fleet ship for him and any input on that would be helpful also (I was looking at either the Fleet LSRV or the Fleet Recon).

    I see you've got the assimilated module. I'd advise getting a Kinetic Cutting Beam, replacing one of your turrets with it and BAM, 2 pc set bonus.

    Small advice, but it's the first that popped in my head.

    Don't put 9 points into PS Generator. Terrible returns.
