So i was digging around memory alphas data banks searching for Mccoys recipe for his three alarm romulan chili beans when i stumbled upon this.
http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Romulan_science_vessel
And i wanted to share my findings with the cryptic team as something they may want to look into at a later time.
We romulans are in dire need of a sci ship so i hope that link will be most helpfull in that goal.

Though that shouldn't stop them from adding the ship in if they wish to.
What Cryptic should consider before releasing anything.
They're aware of it...Geko even mentioned it in the 4:20:19 podcast.
Tell that to my Aventine that makes first place in the Gorn minefield.:D (Well, okay, not a really true science ship, but they can be awesome.)

Don't encourage certain developers to troll further. We get enough badly thought out circular arguments as it is.
Well, we're responsible for designing the game. We made Science powers weak. So because Science powers are weak there's no point in going onward with them.
Utter nonsense. A first semester university student could tear that stuff apart.

Leonard Mccoys three alarm romulan chili recipe the after effects were tested upon a subject with similar traits to romulans....i am concerned it may be used against us.
I have proof of this device theres even documentation upon this picture to prove it was tested

I demand the federation relinquish all data concerning this diabolicle weapon
Nowhere as awesome as they once were and not sure Fleet Actions indicate a good build or not - although in Gorn Minefield I once witnessed a Tac in a Jem' Escort Carrier die to the same aceton assimilator 3 times so that probably is what makes me skeptical.
Hey I'm the one who suggested we hit them with handbags for messing up Science!
What Cryptic should consider before releasing anything.
Having a small, tricksy primarily science ship might be neat, but I don't really think the Romulans are really hurting for science coverage - relative to the overall selection of ships they have.
The only thing I think they are missing and that I would personally like to see is perhaps a Reman (stealth/extremely low shield mod?) carrier. We already know the Scimitar is in the works - but won't be released until sometime after launch.
So...

12 boats...
4ish Tac
4ish Eng
4ish Sci
But...
They have no actual Science Vessel (kind of like they have no actual Escort - there's no +10% Escort Bonus Defense) - there's no increased bonus from Aux for Stealth Detection Rating from a Science Vessel, etc, etc, etc.
There's the Mogai and Fleet Mogai with the LCdr BOFF and potential Lt if you're fine running just an En Eng.
There's the Haakona Zen Ship - the Cmdr Sci/Sci Console version of the Ha'apax.
There's the Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird Refit which is a T5 shipyard vessel...and basically the Fleet version of the Haakona.
Some may or may not place the Mogai in there...I wouldn't - but I went with the benefit of the doubt...coloring it Purplish to represent how folks might disagree on it.
Needing that T5 shipyard for the Fleet Ha'apax Refit is going to be painful for those that like to fly Sci, imho. Additional Sci options, would thus be welcomed - no?
Unlikely they launch with something. But they'll be adding it later. The KDF eventually got the Varanus after all.
I wouldn't place it in the science or tactical category since it is mixed between the two; it's in a hybrid category.
I suppose it's a matter of perspective and preference. I don't see a lot of Intrepids about, it's generally DSSVs, RSVs, Vestas(used to be more Nebulas before it came out), Varanus and carriers. The Ha'apax can fulfill a big majority of those roles(all at once, even) outside of deploying fightercraft.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a pure science ship(I love me some gravity wells). I, personally, just don't think it's as big of an issue as the drama makes it out to be is all.
Some people PvP....
They also may not launch with a carrier. But the Scimitar will likely get at least one hangar bay and there ought to be a carrier in the Romulans' future of some sort.
Expect within 12 months a science ship of some type and a carrier. Along with more pew pew pew.
you will survive......then again maybe not....
