How many people received an invite to the tribble testing of The legacy of Romulas?

Just out of curiousity, is it possible to find out how many people actually received an invite?
Will there be any major changes to the game when it officially releases?

    I can neither confirm nor deny my involvement in any and all beta testing... (said with sto phaser in the back)...lol

    I think the number used was "1000".

    selection was handled by section 31, their official statement is "what beta testing?"

    I may look stupid, but why does everyone write "Romulas", instead of "Romulus" ?

    Same reason as you leaving out the "does" in "why does everyone write", I presume. :rolleyes:

    On a more serious note, they probably think it's the right spelling. The decoupled nature of pronunciation and spelling in the English language can do that to you. :o

    Because the Section 31 mind altering ray also hampers the spelling section of the brain. It's a deed guvawae.

    I believe they were doing it in several groups of 1701.

    Each successive group had an alphabetical designation assigned to it.

    If I recall correctly, they are at group F right now....

    But I could be completely wrong

    Then how come i am not, repeat am not part of testing group 1701-J ????

    There is no Romulan beta test, it is all a ruse to distract from the real threat of the dominion invasion from the Gamma Quadrant

    I guess it are lifetime paid memebers got invite or monthly that are current to this test as a lifetime and tribble player i go thru the game looking for the bugs and missing content since the romulans were omited in the gamethe story needed fixing to show that side. i am waiting to test kdf side to see where it starts bu was bugged so only got part way

    No.. I am a lifetime with the leg pack, and I didn't get an invite.

    You get a tribble invite if your a tribble player.

    Yeah, and I'm glad it's that way. It's so interesting, testing these things... now when can we get closed beta round 2 so I can get up to 50 WITHOUT alternative leveling routes? :(

    I think as someone else said it was limited to only a thousand testers ... and it's not a small number considering it was given out to mostly proven beta testers from the past and a few newer ones ..

    it'll be interesting to see when the next round does come out though seeing as how closer we are getting.
