Omega Mk XII armour not appearing in customisation

I'm obviously doing something wrong here, but I had the Mk XI Omega armour, I customised it a while back. I then was somehow able to remove the armour but keep the visuals. No idea how I did that really.

I have recently obtained the Omega Mk XII Gear 3/3 parts, all equipped etc. I have the Mk XI stuff in my bank now. Now if I make a new costume and then wear this set, I can see it when I run around, but when I go into customisation, I have an option for Omega and it comes up looking like the Mk XI again! There has to be something wrong I swear. I must be missing something.

So in summary:

- I can see the Omega Mk XII armour ONLY when I run around with a plain costume on (i.e. one which doesn't have the Mk XI armour glued, nailed and riveted to it)

- No matter what I wear or do or what costume slot I try I cannot get the Mk XII armour to show in customisation, only the Mk XI and I'm no longer using/wearing/holding it.

It's quite annoying this and I'd really appreciate the help!
