prepatching broken

I was patching along to about 60% then the patcher stopped, so I fired it back up, started all over again, patcher is stopping at 0%. repeated this a few times, not working, always stopping now at 0%. 1050KB/3878MB received 2136KB - 0%.

muh interwebs is working properly as far as I can tell.

    yeah, got to 62% and the bloody thing decided to go on strike... It might be because many are downloading, but it should no be going on a bloody strike when it feels like... Will try once more, but if it stops, I'll wait till tomorrow...

    Stops for me at 0.0% too now. 1014KB/3878MB.

    Really Crytpic??:confused: How do you expect this to work when the pre-patcher goes on a bloody strike on Tribble. It might just get a warp-core breach when you enable pre-patching for Holodeck... :D

    There is a problem with the Plasma_Dual_Heavy .wtex files (saw this pressing Ctrl+X) it is stuck at this point and does not go on. Restarting doesn't work either.

    Got a little further, got to 64% then hung... restarting the patcher doesnt seem to help either

    Got to 62% the first time , the second time I got to 1.2% before it froze.

    Got to 64% with patching on demand disabled, turning it on hangs at 1050KB/3878MB.

    I only get to 61.5%... :(

    edit: Instead of a third try, I went with a complete redownload...will see how that goes. Going to take a wee while.

    same problem around 64% I thought it was connection issue. so try it again and it got stuck at 0%

    either that patch is somehow not complete, or the patch server simply isn't there anymore...

    Thanks for the report, Captains. We're investigating, but fear not! You *should* be able to just patch the rest up on Tribble when you login after we conduct maintenance.

    Several people are posting about this on the (of course) the patch notes for 4-22. The pre-patch locks up in the 60%-65% range. Some are saying 62% for me is 64.8%.

    Posting here so maybe someone will become aware of it.

    Stuck at 64.8% myself.
    Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    61.5 here. but ya, wont be able to play it till after they bring it down and then back up

    The whole thing (uncompressed) if you're doing a fresh install is only ~15 GB, and that's not a 15GB download.

    1.5TB!! Not a chance, no game is that big, yet.

    Put it this way, 1TB is 1000GB, a typical STO install is 10-15GB ;)

    It's in the cannon textures for me, Phaser_Turret_Andorian_6.wtex, specifically.

    Yeah, 64% and holding steady.. Yay! Good thing I ordered an 18" Pizza with Pepporoni, Ham, Sausage, and Meatball... this is gonna be a loooong install! :D
