PWE website: STOP automatic language enforcement

Since a few weeks the website automatically displays the German language version of the site to me. I do not want that. If I would, I'd bookmark the .de subdomain. I don't want to be forced into a version of the site with only half the news and a forum with only 20 active members and no dev posts. The same applies to the Neverwinter site, so I assume this is network wide.

It is just extremely annoying. Every time I have to head to the language setting at the top and switch to English, TWICE. Because the first time, the site just ignores me and still reloads into German.

At least give us the option in our PWE account settings to force a language network wide. I'm sure this kind of automatic "feature" isn't just annoying to me.

    What rouffy said :) Though this will only last until you switch to the PWE mainpage because you want to look up your account settings or something, it'll then change to your regional language and is really annoying. Additionally, the German translation is most likely at least partially a machine translation which leads to some hilarity XD

    it's really annoying...

    everytime i start the launcher and restart firefox i'm back at the german homepage.
    direct bookmark to the english forum seems to work though.

    If you are a bit of a webnerd (like me) you use FF and plugins to prevent such things.
    Use modify headers plugin to set your language to EN, should help :)
