I am flying an Andorian Kumari Escort, is it better to get the Regular or the Andorian heavy cannons and what is the difference.
Also is the breen transphasic torpedo worth keeping for aft or would I be better going for a turret?
The cluster torpedo is a bit of a strange weapon - definitely not suited towards ANY playstyle. However, if you plan on doing strafing runs (use forward cannons to clean shields out, then fire rear torpedoes), the Breen torpedo may come in handy.
As for the Andorian phasers, they're different from the regular phasers only in appearance. The only exceptions are the Andorian 'Wing Cannons', which have no regular counterpart.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
Do not laugh i run a Andorian torp and cannon build
I have 2 Breen clusters forward with 2 Fleet Transphasic Torpedos. I also keep the wing cannon in the 5th spot
Aft I run 1 Cluster Torp and 1 Tranphasic torpedo.
I have the Adapted MACO set along with the rule 62 console.
Damage is amazing.

As was stated but just to be clear Andorian Phaser weapons are just blue colored versions of the normal phaser weapons with no other appreciable difference.
As for the Cluster Torp... It is not that good for an Escort. The Kumari is the ultimate forward arc ship so do not mess up your DPS by putting a rear firing Torp on it. 3 Dual Heavies and a Torp up front (I would say go with either the Omega Torp or a Quantum) with turrets on the back or maybe substitute one turret with the Cutting Beam.
Avoid Transphasic weapons like the plague. They are absolute garbage. Even on the best setup the damage they deal is pathetic. If you need shield penetrating power then get that Omega Torp and burn the heck out of the enemy hull. It will deal way more DOT damage than any Transphasic can muster. However, with the Kumari's special shield draining attack and massive forward DPS it should be a simple matter to bring down any shields getting in your way.
I usually fly in and fly out so I will keep the cluster torpedo aft, so the Andorian cannons are just blue?
Does the mine tactical console effect the breen cluster torpedo?
Its what you fly that does make a difference, like rock paper scissors. A science vessel can counter an escort, a cruiser can counter a science vessel, and an escort can take down a cruiser.
Science: turn incoming energy into shields+brace for impact for torps, blackhole attack +tractorbeam...chronotron torps and disruptor beams = finished escort
Cruiser: Tank, high hull HP can take the blackhole, and heal hull stress and shields from science attacks, wear down with polaron beams and quantum torps, able beat out the science in thier give a hit take a hit fight.
Escort: lock tractor beam on cruisers side, full powered asshault (antiprotons) with buffs to cut through shields...quick turn with a tricobalt or quantum barage. finished!

I would recommend the transphasic console instead. Mine consoles are weaker.
