Grammer & spelling very bad

Please have some one check all the Romulan faction mission dialog for spelling and grammar errors. It looks like a kid wrote the dialog! Not to be mean but do you really want to launch on Holodeck with this kind of stuff? :o

    Yeah I've noticed this as well. I quit reporting them because it became tedious having to to type out the info. (What mission, what part of the quest dialogue, exactly what the error was, etc).

    Copy/paste the text into a spell/grammar checker before finallizing it. It won't catch everything, but the blatant misuses of their/there/they're and its/it's is making my poor mom roll over in her grave. (She was an english teacher and major, just fyi). :P

    well we are testing FOR them,

    If you see an error, tell them

    (speaking from experience its VERY easy to see other peoples spelling errors, yet difficult to find your own)

    Merely saying 'there is a lot of bad spelling and grammar' might as well be saying i saw a bent needle somewhere in that stack of needles, go get it for me ^^

    I understand what you're saying however I feel the point being made is the sheer number of errors we're finding. The lack of a simple way to report them is also a "turnoff" for reporting them.

    As I stated in my post, I reported quite a few. However more and more kept popping up. Being beta is not an excuse, especially for *these* types of errors.

    I could absolutely understand a couple spelling or grammatical errors here or there but I am seeing what I personally feel is too large a number in a day and age where spell-checking software is everywhere. That's all I'm saying.

    ^I think Dan Stahl has said elsewhere that the various bits of text haven't had more than an initial pass yet, but they'll be sent through an editing process before going live.

    Since the thread is called grammer and not grammar, I think these errors are just a beta thing that will be fixed.
    Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.
