Neutral No More - Uncompleteable

Logged on after update to find this mission waiting for me even though I believe I have already completed it. It gave me a ship token for ltcmdr warbirds and I got as far as Miner Setback stage when I warped into the mission to find that the npc you have to destroy is in fact friendly.

    Fingers crossed for a quick fix. Can't test any further until it lets us complete this mission.

    Should add that this appears to effect KDF and Fed players.

    Making a new character has no effect once you reach this mission it wont resolve

    I made a new character went through all the initial missions and now im stuck at the "Price of nuetrality" mission

    Really when will game developers learn not to "Fix" what is not broken but fix the things that are?

    I already had finished this mission, but like others, it's back and can't be cleared.

    Fortunately, it's not keeping me from continuing on with my leveling.

    I'm having trouble with it too. won't let me drop it at this point. I'm stuck at the part where you need to get a new ship from the ship vendor.

    I deleted a toon and started a new one so i could try it on the KDF side well got my new ship but when asked to kill nausican pirates guess what....i cant kill them because they are tagged as freindly ships lol

    It can be cleared, I got the mission again as well.

    you can claim a 2nd T2 ship, so I now have doubles of the Dhelan warbird

    I had a similar problem.

    I ran and bought my next level ship before I was told to (assignment). My fix was to dismiss the Dhelan warbird (removed all the good stuff first). Then I went back and took the assignment and bought the ship again. I was able to 'instruct' the pirates later on in the mission about the error of their ways.

    This was on a Fed allied Rom.
    Are we there yet?

    Yeah couldn't complete it and i was half way through it, so i just replayed some missions and leveled around it, oh well.

    I also got the mission again as a result of the last patch despite having finished it previously, and did get a second copy of the Dehlan. Have not tried going any further along in the mission and there isn't an option to drop it.

    Claimed second ship easy enough, but I can't fight the Nauusicans in the mission- They appear as friendlies.

    getting this problem to AND noticed that the missions in allies episode list are all mixed up 12 11 11 14 15 whats going on? confused:

    Upon completion of Memory Lane, and attaining level 16, Neutral No More shows up again as my next mission. I am directed to the flotilla, and asked to report to the shipyard for a new ship. Only Centurion level ships are available. Since I already have the Dhelan, I choose a KDF ship, but Claim A New Ship is still not completable during this second time.

    you have to buy a Dhelan for this. Just strip your old one and junk it....

    have the same problem but i think mission is ship bound...you must enter with Dhelan and it is all good

    I did the same I deleted the first ship logged out then logged in again and the de'lan was purchasable again.

    Is it possible if a dev could roll out a fix for the "Miner Setback" part of the mission please? That's the part of the mission where I think a lot of people are stuck because the ships appear as friendly, where they should appear hostile toward you.

    I have the issue and my Romulan's sided with the KDF.

    ok theres a solution to this problem for tribble but they need to fix it to where u dont have the problem on holodeck and not able to buy a ship till after u take the mission in the first place

    I just experienced this issue. Unable to remove from mission log.

    Strip your current Tier-2 ship. (put everything in your Inventory)

    Go to Ship-Character List Vendor at the Romulan Flotilla.

    Delete that Tier-2 Ship.

    Go to Ship Vendor.

    Buy another Tier-2 Ship.

    Put all the stuff you took off the first ship and put it on this second ship.

    You can then go to the mission in question and finish it for points.

    Problem Solved.

    I just received this mission at level 19. I also, finally, received the mission for my initial doff cadre I was suppose to get at level 11.

    So....I went to New Romulus Command on New Romulus to claim my free doffs finally. I noticed a turbolift that took me to the shuttlebay. In the shuttlebay I talked to the ship and shuttle requisitions NPC and received a free ship costume change token. :confused:

    Then I went to the Romulan Flotilla to see what this Neutral No More mission was and it said to claim a new ship. But I can't claim a new ship at all. I hope this doesn't TRIBBLE things up when I reach level 20. :eek:

    Well this is just great. I reached level 20 and got the mission to be promoted to Subcommander and get a new ship. So....I went to the command center on New Romulus and claimed my free ship, a Mogai Heavy Escort.

    I renamed the ship and the window had a button to ready the ship. So I clicked the button. Didn't read what what the new window said and clicked the OK button. Then, I beamed from the command center on New Romulus straight to the Romulan Flotilla.

    This confused the hell out of me. Neutral no more was still not complete. So......I discharged my Mogai Heavy Escort thinking I needed to do that and the mission was to get that same ship.

    Well...........I just NOW realized that Neutral no more was the mission to get a free ship at level 10 (I received the mission at level 19, well after I got my first free ship). I see that for the Centurion rank I can claim a Dhelan Warbird, which I already have.

    So now I'm at a loss. I just discharged my new better ship and there's no way to replace it for free. I guess I'll have to delete my character and start all over again.:mad:

    Probably would have helped if I read the comments here first to find out it was the T2 ship this mission screwed up on. :o

    Oh well. This is beta after all and that's what we're here for. Thankfully this didn't happen on the Holodeck server. :P
