    If I had to pick 1 though, I'd go with the first 1. Run the kinectic cutting beam in the rear instead of one of those turrets.

    Never run 2 torpedoes up front in an escort unless you are aiming for a torpedo boat build.

    Borg set with elite fleet shields will give you better results than either romulan or any maco set.

    After tweaks made to the CE event, I'd recommend the second build for that event, and that event only.

    Then go with the first build for other stuff like STFs and what not.

    The added torpedo launcher will have a better effect on the Crystaline Entity. And it still has enough cannons to make crystal sprinkles out of the fragments with scatter volley. It's just the way the CE is currently. Until they change it again. In a week or so.

    Wing Cannons are Phaser type weapons.
    Better wing cannon + phaser dhc

    but no, i don't like them at all.

    Also, that build has a massive energy drain:

    12 +

    71 !!!!!!

    yes, it will be restored at the end of the cycle, but after the first weapon fires others will have their power reduced.

    because of this i was thron beetween that 2 builds.

    guys: are elite fleet shields good ?

    i was wondering about their utility: yes, they have the adapting proc, but how can be useful ?
    they have a moderate capacity, so while they adapt, they are disabled.

    really worth it ?

    I'd like to know this also. I'm undecided whether to go for elite fleet shields or MACO shields for my Andorian escort. I'm using Assimilated Borg for engines/deflector.

    just curious guys,
    The wing cannons arent that good?
    Are they worth going from all Anti Prot to Phaser?
    I do believe in trying to keep all the same type so you can benifit the tac consols for them.
    Also i hear to go with the Maco Shield and the Borg eng and defl?
    (i put the cutting beam in the aft)
    Along with that trans torp mine one....
    Your thoughts?

    Also i have been reading that the Science version of the Kumeri is best all around.
    I currently run the tac....
    Are any of the un consols good that it comes with?
    How about the un borg one that comes when you get the cutting beam?

    I don't like the Kumari: its BOff layout isn't good.
    too tac officers, i don't need 3 tac.

    I don't like the Khyzon: I believed it was the best due to its 4 sci slots, but i had to think again.

    I really like the Charal: Very Good BOf Layout and well balanced Slot Layout.


    For Slot Layouts, the best would be the Kumari, but i don't like its BOff Layout.
