So, I took a small break from sto a few weeks back, and popped on today to check in. New event...ok lets go for it, I queue up, start the new project and go about my business.
Then it occurs to me, may 2 is not enough time for me to get the 14 shards for the project if I can only get one per day...is this project going to be stuck in my project queue now since I can't finish it? What effect will that have on future events held in this way?
The event started april 11th or 12...
You can keep doing the event, but if to late to gather 14 I wouldnt bother except maybe for the 480 dil you get from it every 30 min.
Right....my question, however, is: Given that you can't cancel projects, and I already started the project...in future events that are held in this style will I be stuck with the crystalline shard project unfinished and not be able to do future event projects?
Edit - I'm not complaining about the time frame or not being able to finish it...my own bad for not keeping tabs, I just don't want to be stuck with this project in my track keeping me from being able to do future projects.
The project will most likely cancel itself with time like the fleet holiday project. Or it may just wait for the reputation cancel functionality that's coming up.
I kind of wish the OP could get his reward too. I feel bad he is being left out.
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censored, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
I feel like I definitely should have saved my shards in my bank until I had 14 of them. That way if I miss the deadline I could just save the shards for next time.
I would keep the Crystal Shards in my inventory and wait until they redo the event if I was in that situation. There is also the possibility that the devs will make the shards tradeable on the exchange for people that can't complete the project.
