Character Face, forced change (Rom/KDF)

fataiityx3fataiityx3 Member Posts: 22 Arc User
I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended (really hope its a bug). After allying my Male Romulan to the KDF, his face became changed in the Tailor screens to some weird Klink / Romulan amalgamation. The character has a permanent ?angry? face with one eye brow raised above the other. His nose also became highly enlarged. I have messed with all the tailor options but I can not get him back to the original look.

It happened to me. For some odd reason it makes a bit if sense that they would use change the facial expression when you choose a faction. I chose KDF, and his facial expression changed into something reminiscent of that that smug, yet aggressive Romulan expression that we see them do in TNG and DS9.

This sounds like a bug that has come up a few times in other threads. We'll be looking into this. You should not be forced to become "Klingy" after accepting their alliance.

After choosing KDF allegiance, my transporter effects are now red, so is my transwarp, same with the warp nacelle glow before jumping to warp.

That is also a bug. Federation Romulans work just fine.

Though I must admit, I am a bit curious as to what the Romulan transwarp looks like. Haven't had the chance to use it a lot, and didn't quite pay attention when I did use it.

I for one really like my kling "angry" looking romulan. Maybe add the option to choose to the tailor, please.

    Romulan transwarp/warp is just blue.

Romulan warp is green. Transwarp, however... It's...

It's blue. (I wonder if anybody got the reference...)

If I can make a smug angry looking Romulan, I would be happy. Trying to make my female Romulan character as mean looking as possible. A villainous flare for those of us that want it would be a nice touch.

If my knowledge of the Foundry is any good, this is a bug and nothing more.
When you choose a side, a flag is probably set to mark you as KDF for some things.
That flag might punch in the wrong coordinates in some circumstances though.

Which ends up with Romulans with Klingon faces, transwarp trails and transporter effects.
