Really Felt Like a Romulan

Awesome awesome time on my beta Romulan, really enjoying all the well done design work, and actually being a romulan, then I had to make my ally choice and its been going downhill since.

I made my lvl 10 choice and got bombarded with Federation stuff. Go to get my ship and I have to filter out all the Federation ships, got another BOFF, Federation. I was given some awesome weapons and a tac console, all Phaser based, and Centurion rank as well, not very useful.

You should have to go to your allies starbase to get their stuff, not have your romulan options buried under it in the flotilla.

I'm really loving it Dan, the team did a great job! Just try not to inundate us with our allies stuff! :D

I personally loved the new content and a really in depth story. I would disagree with the ally Boff, etc. It seemed very appropriate to get a fed boff and an offering of fed gear when you make your alliance. It would only make sense that your ally might want to have a representative on your crew and would offer weapons etc as part of your alliance deal. Similar to the Rom/fed alliance in ds9 where the cloak was shared but so were officers. I do think however it would make better sense to go to a fed starbase for fed ships but its minor in the bigger picture.

Definitely think there needs to be more separation of (Ally) ships and gear. The Romulan stuff is brilliant in itself, it feels wrong for it to be burried beneath a load of same-old-same-old Federation or Klingon trappings.

I like how you can unselect all non-warbird ships at the ship store to tune allied ships out.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

Yes, this. The stuff in the flotilla should remain all romulan to avoid confusing a new player.

Anything that makes it feel like third faction is good with me.

As a PvPer, I am personally glad that will we will join exisitng fleet, rather than have to start from scratch. I would like to see Romulan specific versions of fleet weapons etc. available through the fleet stores if possible. Now if we could get account wide unlocks of rep system that would be frickin' awesome (NGTH I know .... LOL)

I agree, although as shipyard terminals are game-wide I'm not sure they can single that one out.

Perhaps the "Command Center" on NR could be the "joint operations" center for accessing your ally's stuff.

it really feels like you are playing a different game. It's so well polished and detailed. The new hail screen is also very nice.
