ship utility slot

im thinking of a slot added to all ships to do the following -

add extra weapon slots to forward or aft or both
add 1 or 2 more hanger slots
upgrade boff stations
add science, tactical, or engineer console slots
increase hull or shield points
u can figure our any more

note these are not part of the ship console system it a new side system. this slot is made to improve the ship directly and if u remove it the item is gone for good.

    Next bolt-ons are Warp Cores and Singularity Cores (already on Tribble), some sort of dedicated Armor slot might be after that.

    Your proposal sounds close to what one of the devs was talking about with upgrading T4 ships to T5/VA ships via micro-transactions, though it would be permanant for each upgrade.

    permanent sound like skill point while this is a slot were u can replace it with something better but u lose whatever u had last time so replace the old is a final diescion so u can undo what u did
