Anyone remember when it started in the lounge area? I wish it would be changed back to that, i think it was cooler than starting out in weapons locker, engineering or sickbay...

    You mean the old one that everyone thought they were looking out a starbase window before they realized all scaling in STO was created for Land of the Giants?

    Honestly I hope they take the opportunity to modify and start the Tutorial(s) at the various Academies (SFA/KDF/Rom?) when they roll out Season 8. See this post http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=549831 for some suggestions. :)

    I prefer the new one.

    Mind you, they have stated they will create Academy-based intro missions at some point.

    You know, "soon?". :P

    I like how our starting location depends on our class. Plus, it resolves a continuity issue.
