Fleet Defiant vs Charal vs Kumari

Tring to decide what is overall better to shoot things the best, I have both a fleet defiant and the Kumari Bundle. I know the Kumari has the most potential with its 5 tac consoles and 5 fore weapons but its also made of paper, the Charal has a little more survivability at the expense of a tac slot and the fleet defiant has only 4 fore weapons but 5 tac slots but also a little low on engineering. I also do have the Steamrunner as an option. I'm looking to get my first char back up to spec with this new trait system, so that means getting him ready to get some space traits on him.

    This is just me and the way I think. If you choose the science version of the Kumari bundle you can have the same officer layout as the patrol escort, which is one of the more tanks escort in the game. This also gives you four science slot which I would use for four field generators, maxaizing your shield capacity. I would sacrifice one weapons console slot for more hit points, but that is my game style of play, someone else might argue against it.

    If you go with the science version of the Andorian escort it might be an idea going with a plasma build. Then you could load up with four of the embassy sci consoles, each one giving +8 plasma. This would make up for the lack of a fifth tac console.

    Why no love for the Fleet Advanced Escort? It's a patrol escort but more science than engi right? And multi-vector is pretty fun.

    Personally, I use a Mobius as it gets REALLY fun in PvP. If I ever get the lobi for the temporal set... then daym, that would be hench. :P

    I just switched from the fleet defiant to the fleet AE and then got the MVAE console...its a very powerful ship

    T3 fleet not T4 sorry :P I do have the Cstore version so when we get T4 maybe

    Charal all the way if you want to run a full set on Romulan -threat cons. Oddly I'm still on the fence about if they work our not given I'm almost always target number one with a bullet in STFs.
