character 'paper model' surfing on borg deflector?

Logged into Tribble today and opened up the inventory/character viewer (the window that comes up when pressing u key), upon doing so I noticed that my toon seamed to be surfing (or at least standing on) what appeared to be a Borg deflector (which i have on my ship but have the visuals disabled). I have uploaded a screenshot to clarify.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not (though if not I cant imagine any discernible reason for it) . Is this going to stay around? I've checked my boff's and they do not have the device under them.

manged to get back onto tribble, this is one of my boff's (who's not following there captin's example)
