Character creation question

messahlamessahla Member Posts: 1,160 Arc User
I just started playing tribble last night and noticed i was unable to make a KDF character
It says i must be level 25 to make a KDF character.....my toon is level 50 lol

So heres my question : Is character creation enabled on tribble?

Fed creation is. They've said in one of the previous Tribble patch notes that they've shut off KDF creation for the time being. Also should note that if you have a KDF on Holodeck, you can import them - it's just new KDF characters that are blocked.

Ok ty i was wondering what was going on :)

So if i wanted to make a new toon on tribble to experiance the new character creation process would i need to delete my old lvl 50 toon?

And if so would that also delete that toon on the holodeck?

If you want to create a new Federation character, you can do so at any time, provided you have enough slots for it. Simple way to check; at the character selection screen put the mouse cursor over the 'Create New Character' graphic at the top. It will tell you how many 'Unrestricted' slots you have left. If you have more than one, you can create a new Federation character.

If not, you can safely delete a level 50 character from Tribble, and the one on Holodeck will not be affected at all. It's something I do all the time to test how things will change on my primary character from season to season (import character, test, delete character, import from holodeck again, etc).

    Hope this helps! :)

Yes that really helps me alot i was worried i would wind up deleting my holodeck toon so now i can try out the new character creation process.

Hopefully it wont be to difficult and they have kept some of the original creation process

    Again thanks again :)

So we are not able to create Romulan Charector right now? Also thought we were going to be able to create a charector from Level 1 in KDF and Romulan. Did I miss a post somewhere?

    Thanks,

currently on Tribble you cannon make a Romulan or Klingon Character. You will be able to make a Romulan or Klingon starting on 1 once that phase of LoR is put up on Tribble. The are doing a phased roll out of the expansion on Tribble.
