Launcher not Loading

Hi, I played the game fine this morning, but now the Launcher will not load at all and then tries to direct me to a web page that is also not loading....

    Hi all,

    Wondering if anyone has got this error before.

    Patcher Error (while loading launcher)

    The patchclient got a message while it was in a state with no response function.

    Ran a traceroute all fine...

    Im having the exact same problem, any help would be appreciated, im also in scotland.

    i've loaded the game client seperately and when i put in my password and username it goes to connect then tells me that the connection to the account server has timed out.

    i played the game on friday and there have been no patches or changes to my computer in that time, i've also restated the computer a few times just to make sure its not a loading issue my end.

    Can you get into the game at all. Been reloading launcher for 20 minutes but same every time.... Or just simply cannot reach patchserver despite the traceroute saying I can...

    I've not been able to get into the game at all. I'm going to try and uninstall and re install to tsee if that helps anything.

    I am also having the same problems, managed to get on (briefly) earlier today. But when I try to load the launcher I get "Loading. Please Wait." After awhile it then redirects me to the same website mentioned above.
    Devs please help us!!!

    Same problem, also in the UK, was playing fine this morning but when I tried to get back on in the afternoon I was redirected to res://ieframe.dll/dnserrordiagoff_webOC.htm.

    Posted on the other thread as well but just noticed something.

    Are those having troubles all in the UK?

    Are we also all on BT?

    I had an issue like this with BT a few years back playing that fantasy MMO that everyone thinks all games should follow... Somewhere internally at BT, someone had switched a router round. I know that they are doing some big BT Vision switch over so it might be linked to that. Grabbing at straws perhaps but it's annoying the hell out of me that I can't play since 3pm.

    Im with BT. will be fairly upset if thats the reason lol. wife finally comes round to me having a "gaming day" and because star trek isnt working i have to chop veg up for making soup bags instead....

    I'm not getting any timeouts, pings don't go much above 100 even.

    After a 4 hour or so "break" I have now been able to get into the game. It's a bit bumpy and laggy, but yay... it works.

    I did an uninstall and reinstall and it started to let me back in around the same time all you guys got in.

    However, I then went to map transfer on to ESD and the game insta-crashed on me. Now all my Toons are current on ESD and none of them load and throw me out of the game.

    I have just restarted my PC to see if that would help and I am now getting a time out trying to connect to the Account Server!

    Oh now I can connect to the game but still got the error of when logging in and map transferring to ESD the game chucks me out!

    please Cryptic could we have some one look at this.

    I'm getting increasingly frustrated with this game tonight. I've done the delete trick in the Live folder (both just one file and the entire stinking thing) I've let it patch those deleted files. I've turned off my anti-virus. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and I've force verified all files. I keep getting random installer CTDs, I haven't gotten any farther than the installer crashing all evening. The reasons it's giving me for the installer crashing are all over the board, from corrupt files, to missing files, to incorrectly defined "holster permissions" for the last (wth is that?!) I'm getting a fatal error this time, "Two repeated reads return different results".

    It is not my machine, and if I hear someone suggest as much, I'm shoving my other normally operating games up their backside.

    It's not your System love it's on Cryptic's side.

    I'm having the same problem on two different system. on Windows 8 it's the Launcher. on my windows 7 the Log in to the Account server times out.

    It's great to hear it's not working properly on different OSs (well, not really, that's infuriating) It's definitely a growing problem at this rate.
    However, I want to put it out there that the launcher was giving my Win8 system such a hard time that it began triggering persistent crashes in other software if I had the launcher & something else open at the same time. It's like whatever is corrupt in the STO files weaseled it's way around (not claiming it's a virus/worm, just thinking it might have degraded system stability overall) This conflict got so bad that I'm currently doing a system refresh to remedy it.

    My launcher will get to about 80.9% update and then no further. Total of about 7 hours. All other internet works normally. Anyone got a fix for this?

    Mine doesn't even direct me it's' just a blank white screen I was fine earlier this evening and now it's not working at all. I'm in Britain BTW

    I was told to go to Perfect World sight and file a ticket. Found out there having these issues on "Champions Online" also.

    No Reply to the ticket yet though:(
