So is it a good or a bad sign that Cryptic is running out of bugs and having to recycle ones from launch?

    Re-innovation at it's finest.

I want the opposite, I want my ground character in space on STFs in his EV Suit with a pulsewave.

Don't forget the borg hand suit patch, and the "Assimilate This" emote + title.

Anyone figured out how exactly this process can be applied/undone?

I believe it happens when you're using a costume that doesn't seem to be valid in the current build. This seems to include some (all?) of the Vet Rewards.

I have versions of characters that beam in fine who are using standard costumes, but a KDF and UFP character, each using veteran elements in their costume, who can't beam down.

So... if you're using some, try removing any veteran elements from your costume on holodeck then transferring your character to tribble. Might help.

The character I have currently didn't have any vet reward costumes on, or even purchased.

    CStore options?

I was imaging that the vet stuff was the trouble because my UFP character wearing his Vice Admiral top beams down fine, but wearing his Jupiter, with gold vet bling, can't. Figured it was the veteran part of it that was causing issue since my KDF with vet fur can't either.

Seems to be costume-related, perhaps it extends beyond vet stuff though, and some CStore options are bugged too, including the Jupiter stuff?

I think it'd make for an amazing Orb experience... you can talk to a Prophet that has taken the form of your ship or shuttle.... what? Everyone knows STO players love ships above all else, it seems like its all they sell!:D:D

I beamed down perfectly fine with Vet elements on both my ship and my characters clothing. No problems at all.

    Hmm. Unusual.

In the case of my character I'm not sure what the differences in versions would be beyond the costume. I suppose the newer version is a bit further along in the reputation system. Doubt that's it though.

Can't think of anything else that might have changed much between versions...

Reminds me of the initial launching "feature" back then^^ Good old times, where you could frog-jump with your Miranda on ESD^^
