Can you prove me wrong?

gaalomgaalom Member Posts: 531 Arc User
So I did the minning mission for dilithium, got away with 900 total. As I get better maybe 1200. Now if I were to combine that with the Breen dailies, which I am already ready to shoot myself over, I end up maybe with with what 6 to 7k total. For two hours or more of my time. Not counting the Romulan marks daily.

So can anyone here give me a detailed how to, not a link, of getting 15000 dilithium in one day, that does not exceed two hours of my time? If you can do that then ill shut up about the dilithium for good

I just hit the rep, where I could get omega weapons, the cost for the ship weapons is around 15000 dilithium. So here is your chance to shut me up about the rep and the dilithium. I dont think what I am asking is possible.

Elite STF is probably 15-20 minutes and you make 960 dilithium plus Omega marks and BNPs; probably an average of 2000 dilithium per eSTF with a bit of luck. That's 6,000 per hour. Combine this with doffing, and you can get to 15,000 dilithium per day in less than two hours.

It's not up to anybody else to prove you wrong. It's impossible to prove a negative. The burden of proof is on the affirmative side, in this case you.

    You could get a job - that pays $10/hr = $20 for your 2 hours - lets say $10 after travel/taxes/UI etc

$10 left you buy Zen = 1000 zen = 100,000 dilthium per day.

Grinding is cheap labour - less than 50 cents an hour or something like that.

    1. Your request is irrelevant because you can only refine 8k in 24 hours.

    2. Play the game and plan ahead. I never have a prob hittin my 8k very quickly.

    3. If you are using alts and transferin dili via zen exchange then its even easier.

Play the game or dont. Not sure why you are asking us to convince you its worth playing.

Jobs which involve labor or are mainly based in service tend to have a high turn over rate regardless of economic conditions.

On Topic, I don't have the numbers for contraband, but having several KDF alts farming the Species Freighter and Species Outposts marauding Doff Assignments along with Inspect Civilian Freighter produces large amounts of contraband (which leads to being able to run the 2k Dil turn in Doff Job a lot). Additionally, the KDF can run the 2 Pi Canis Sorties + Pi Canis Daily for 4320 Dil in 20 minutes or so.

Critting the Doff Job "Dilithium Mining in an Unstable Asteroid field" will give you 1250 Dil (250 on normal success).

And, as was stated, Running eSTFs will net you 960 Dil per run (more if you convert the marks and BNPs to dil).

There are so many temp/part-time jobs availible in America right now they could drop unemployment down to 4%

This is the main problem in American job market - the full-time/ salary jobs with good pay are being eliminated and replaced with temp/part-time labour where the companies don't have to pay benefits and health care.

That is the job problem in America - good jobs are hard to get. Cheap jobs with no benefits/health insurance/low pay - are everywhere.

Plus that whole prblem where sitting on your butt living off welfare pays better than any 2 part-time jobs.

My ex gets $800 off of government assistance, plus that free cell phone, which she continually loses. I make a little more than $400 with my part-time job. I'm a student, so part-time is the thing for me, lol.

    Gah, we're soooo off topic.

No OP, I won't prove you wrong, because I don't want to play more than I need to. Forum PvP doesn't overheat my computer :P I should get dilithium for it

I do not play Cryptic's dilithium game of grinding away for shiny little trinkets. The same goes for marks.

8k a day is the limit for refinement so even if you could earn 15k there isn't a way of being able to use it immediately to buy something.

NWO their other title seems to be giving people more per day to refine with their currency so I really don't understand why they haven't converted this game over to the new standard they are setting with NWO.

Honestly with the way they have this setup it wouldn't hurt a single thing to make it 15k a day refinement.

For those who offered advice on making dilithium thanks. Ill see about those stfs. As for duty officers, I gave up on those a long time ago. Too random for my liking.

As for the job crack. Hey kid when I started working I started at 5.25 an hour and worked my way up for 10 years freezing my TRIBBLE off year round. So why dont you try to get a life, I know scary.

For those that helped thanks again.

DOFFing for Dil is very consistent. Not random at all. And much easier to make a killing with. I'd highly suggest heeding the DOFFing advice in this thread, and peeping the DOFF subforum and asking around some more. Utilizing the DOFF system could save you a ton of hassle when it comes to your Dilithium needs.

Well, if you have an alt, you could grind for dilithium, sell it for z-points, log onto your main and trade the z-points for dilithium.

Not as much hassle as it sounds.

Actually, all you need to do is post at an unreasonable price and then take your order down on the other character.

Doing a spotlight foundry mission will get you 2880, unless you pick one that has been "over farmed".

3 space ESTF should net you at least 4380 if not 4880.

Now get over to New Romulus for a round of Epohh tagging. Once your Epohh production line has been filled, you should be getting an Elder Epohh at least every 5 days, which works out as 800 dilithium a day. If you crit the assignment to produce Epohh research it works out at more. You are getting the 4k as a lump sum every 4 or 5 days, but so long as you have a small surplus of unrefined dilithium it's not an issue.

If you need to get to New Romulus quickly, spend a few EC using the "episode transwarp". I use the Temporal Ambassabor for 38k EC. The biggest problem with Epohh tagging is the assignments run for a full 24hr, not 20hr.

And don't forget to do the Lore question at the academy for 480.

I also do the Engineering, Military and Espionage DOff assignments that reward 250 or 50 dilithium. Only takes a couple of minutes to get that lot going. Also the Resettle/Relocate Colonists assignments whenever I see them.

On my KDF toons I can probably do that in 90mins for 8.5k, without taking into account turning in contraband, BNP, scoring extra omega marks in the STF or the little bonuses from the Doff assignments.

Takes a little longer on my Fed, and I don't have the contraband bonus the KDF does.

Now I could get 13k in 2hrs by spamming the same KDF foundry mission 8 times, but as I can't refine more than 8k a day, an I build up enough of a surplus with having to do that.

It isn't random if you learn the system, and how to make a zero fail mission run. You are missing out man, you're missing out.

I tend to aim to earn 20k+ in one day every few days. That means the next few days I do not need to worry about Dil.

Rather than grinding everyday, I wind up grinding one or two days a week. And it is genrally doing things I would have been doing anyways. Means on that one day I do only Omega STFs rather than a mix.

I get most of my dilithium from Dailies, contraband, and Foundry missions. It takes a while, but certainly doable in 2 horus, esp if you have multiple characters.

At least do the Contraband assignments, those get you a pretty regular 2000 Dil for just a couple of clicks.
