Launcher isn't loading (Resolved!)

Ok...am I alone in this?

The launcher isn't wanting to load up. It just says 'Loading' for awhile, then changes to basically a 404 error.

To be exact, it says:


"The website is currently offline. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience and are working to return to service as soon as possible."

    The launcher is blank. It just says the web page is unavailable. 10 min now!

    Anyone else getting this?

    Me as well! At first, it would eventually say "The web site is currently offline" but now it just doesn't load at all. :( So much for playing this evening.

    me too, those borg need me to blow them up, they just would not feel right without me blowing them up lol

    Now that there is a thread chances increase they will know about the problem sooner. I was just changing characters. So when I was online last the game worked fine while I was logged in!

    Also something similar hapened last night. Except the entire server went down. This is kinda weird!

    My fleet mates and i where in a elite space encounter and about to beat our personel best when POW lights out...I personaly think it was due to are general OPness...

    Yes.... same situation... launcher will not load... "The website is currently offline", game has been anything but stable since thier emergency maintaince last week

    My guess is someone turned off the wrong server! :P Tribble was supposed to be gone for a week but instead, we've lost the launcher. :rolleyes:

    The team is investigating this now -- Champions is also affected, if you're trying the Champs launcher to get into STO.

    I tried going to the install directory and launch GameClient.exe manually. I get cannot connect to account server with that.

    This happened last night too. Except the game just froze while I was playing.
