Were any of you (of the ones that were interested at least) ever get any type of communique from PWE/Cryptic that we could download the Neverwinter client and play during our allotted CBT Weekend dates? I mean besides the emails stating that we would need to purchase Founder Status for Neverwinter to get guaranteed access? We were supposed to be in on both this CBT weekend and the last one as well, but I have been patiently waiting for an e-mail that doesn't seem to appear, and upon inspection today, I learned that the Neverwinter client can be downloaded..
My husband got an email from Cryptic saying that that his Beta status was directly applied to his NW account. When the weekend start at 12pm pst tomorrow, you should be able to hop right on.

I am an LTS and got a beta invite e-mail 2 weeks ago for the second beta weekend; and just last Tues. got another beta invite e-mail for this third weekend that starts tomorrow. The subject of this latest e-mail read:
"Neverwinter Beta Weekend Invitation!"
So, honestly, yes, I received e-mails about it beforehand from PWE/Cryptic.

I did not get an email for the last BTW, I simply logged onto the site and downloaded the client and played. I did get a Beta Invite email this time though.
"The third Beta Weekend for Neverwinter is coming, with more invites than ever! This is the first time that the Great Weapon Fighter, Pirates' Skyhold, Icespire Peak, Chasm and PvP will be available for the masses to try. Come and join us in an epic adventure through the Forgotten Realms!
Neverwinter will be available to play starting March 22nd at 12pm PDT, and then closing on March 24th at 11:59pm PDT.
We are also holding a Crash the Shard event on March 23nd starting at 1pm PDT. If you login between 1pm and 2pm on that day, you will receive an exclusive Pirate Hat when Neverwinter launches! "
Well, I got no email other than the "Give us hundreds of dollars now!" .. After reading the thread here I went ahead and downloaded the client. After installing, I still have no access.. so.. I guess this LTSer is SOL...

When did you try to play? It will not allow access until 12 pm (Pacific) on Friday, March 22.

Nope. I got shafted. An advertised "feature" of being lifetime, and I got nothing. I sent in a support ticket, and guess what? No reply.

For you lifetimers who are claiming to have not gotten an email, try this site to download the NW beta client. Access should be granted to your account automatically (if you're a lifetimer) and you should be able to just use your PWE login to enter when the beta starts (on Mar 22 at 12pm PDT).
I've not gotten any emails, but at the same time? I try to avoid betas these days. Used to love them before, but now, a few years later? Yeah, ruins all the surprises, its actual work, etc. I will salute those of you who are going for it, though! Please, write up good bug reports, and hope that you enjoy it over all

Salute accepted. I did 33 bug reports last weekend. All about graphic glitches.

People appricate you linking the info, but the problem is that there is a communication breakdown on Perfect World's part. And apparently there was no effort to fix it since the previous Never Winter Beta Event.
What if there was a very important message that needed to be distributed to the entire playerbase? Like the Cryptic hacking fiasco last year that asked people to change their passwords?
To me, this is rather serious. While people don't want advertisement spam, they do want important gameplay messages to get through.

If it wasn't for the forum, I very likely would've missed out on the March 8-10 test.
I did miss that weekend, because I was waiting on an email.. I didn't think to check the site for any additional information.
